[MODERATOR NOTE] Do not post a link to the song or ask for a link to the song.

Me? Dissapointing...

Purely down to the vocals. Meh.

What about everyone else? And could a mod turn this into a poll?

It's not the entire song, the quality in which it was encoded is poor, so I will reserve judgment when the real deal comes along.

It's more than enough to get a good view on the song, as opposed to the instrumental sample we had before (which I really liked).

Interesting vibe to it. Although from what I've heard so far, I'd prefer it as an instrumental.

I do so hate it when people rush to judge.

Agreed. The song thus far sounds good, the lyrics don't realy interest me but the I'm feeling the beat. This should have been an instrumental and it would have scored big time.

Yep, me too for the instrumental version. It was very stylish compared to this one.

Musically it's good, and it will transpose well into a dark-OHMSS-sounding orchestral piece, which to me is more important anyway. Perhaps not as good as YKMN, but way better than anything by Sheryl Crow, Garbage or Madonna.

The bridge of the song sounds a bit off putting but everything else fits with the whole Bond feel. I suppose all of it'll sound better when I see the credits to go along with the song.

The leaked version isn't the full version. :(

I liked what was there but I have a feeling the YKMN haters are really going to hate this one.

Can someone PM me the link (don't post it)? Normally I'd be happy to wait for the official release, but this roll out has been a mess and I'd like to hear it as a whole song before the next Coke commercial spoils another piece of it.

EDIT: Oh, never mind. If this leak isn't the whole version, I don't want to hear it.

Again, what a mess. :(

I think we haven't heard it yer. But what we have heard so far was better than most of the last handful of dirges.

Be very careful how you answer that, everyone.

Can't wait to hear it along with seeing mk12's credits. However, it does make me wonder if Winehouse/Ronson might have done a btter job lyrically and vocally

To be honest, I like it. BUT the version of You Know My Name that we heard is VERY different from the one used in the final movie. So we may like the song more once we see the movie.

This is not at all what I was expecting. Frankly, my reaction is not good. I had to listen to it semi-quietly on account of being at work, I'll give it a good loud listen when I get home in a couple hours, but yeah...not what I was expecting.

It's merely okay like YKMN. A minute of music is more then enough to determine if you like it.

Yes, Jack doesn't disappoint ( well not me anyway) typical that people have to slag it off, it sounds like the best thing Bond's been privy to in ages, the full blown analgue stereo mix will awesome.

I like it. Bondian music while the delivery of the lyrics is a new approach for a Bond song. I like the duet aspect and how their voices go together.

Makes me want to hear the full 4+ minutes even more now.

It's got a good tone and Bond-y serious feel to it, but melodically I could have hoped for more.

EDIT: Actually with one more listen it's already grown on me. Really want to hear the rest of it as I suspect it's about to take off just when the clip ends.

It's certainly a new approach, I won't begrudge Mr. White that. Something just seems off about it to me.

The first time I heard YKMN I heard Cornell's vocals, a good catchy rhythm, but not much melody. Over time I picked up the notes happening underneath (especially hearing the film's orchestral version) and came to love the song - it's one of my personal favourites. I'm the furthest thing from a 'hater,' I'm 100% behind every decision made with the franchise since, basically, the inception of CR.

It just feels....weird. There's no melody that I can discern, but as I said, wouldn't be the first time. It feels slow, I keep constantly wanting it to pick up but it never seems to (granted, could be YKMN hangover on my part or the fact that we've only heard the first half).

And could it be the file format I'm listening to, or the fact that I'm listening quietly...but the two singers almost sound off-key with each other, to me. I'm REALLY nitpicking here, but like I said - just my initial impressions.

Just out of pure historical interest, when exactly was the last analogue Bond song recording? I'm guessing ALL TIME HIGH.

Interesting song. Once I've heard it in full, and given it a decent number of listens, I'll weigh in with a judgment.
