Well guys, what most interested me was the DISC III. But, as Mharkin007 said, I do have a job, a girlfriend, a PS3, and so on...

But, I'll check the Disc I as soon as I can.

Just in case I didn't said yet. The MENUS from Disc I and II are different from the other version of the DVD.

Are there animated scene selections? I love animated scene selections, hehe. Personally, I thought the normal DVD was kinda drab in terms of the menu. I hope this one's cooler.

Is your copy region 1, 2 or 4 ? I know region 4 has the uncut PTS and stairway scenes, since I have a digital copy of that version

The R4 version has longer PTS and Stairway versions, it's pretty cool...the R1 and R2 versions are family trimmed...even the R3 version, which is almost identical to the R4, has been cut, as it's missing the OH, YOU'VE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF YOUR BODY line...I guess ppl in Asia find that kinda stuff immoral

Basically the R4 is the only Campbell's TRUE vision version

The fights are longer, yes, more frames...not only that, but the R1 versions have different angle shots not shared with the R4, being the latter's more graphic

basically both fights are seconds longer and more graphic, that's all

The previous R1 DVD had a cut down version then the one I saw in theaters by inserting a shot of Fishers feet when Bond is strangling him in the PTS instead of a longer angle on Bond and in the the stairwell fight the angle of Obanno's head thrown into a glass window by Bond as well as a angle of the other henchman hitting the floor at the beggining were cut out so for me I want the version I saw in the theater. So if the R4 has these cuts in it then the R1 will probably be the same.

I watched a bit of the documentaries, they are great, in the tradition of past John Cork work, and they are directed by him.
The Blu Ray have the audio commentary as PIP while the regular DVD is audio only.

Sorry, bondrules, I must correct you, but the region 3 copy does indeed have the line about taking good care of your body as well as the 'such a waste' line that is missing from the UK region 2 version. If that line is the only difference between the region 3 and region 4 versions, then the region 3 copy is indeed complete.

I decided on the region 2 version for the three disc set as all the extras are the same and I can still watch the unut version when I want. It's the additional extras features I want. Unless the BBFC has reversed the cut from the theatrical/ 1st dvd release?

I'm surprised that Amazon is charging £17.99 for it though. Play have it for only £11.99. However they only posted it yesterday, so it remains to be seen whether it'll arrive by Monday.

It already has been passed uncut. It's just a different edit to Campbell's original version.

The Hong Kong R3, the Aussie R4 and (I think) the R2 Dutch releases are all uncut. Some other editions probably are, as well.

I would think that since this is the second version of the film it would make sense to me to have the same version for all regions and if the R4 has the scene you mentioed and the ones I mentioned then the other regions should have the same.
