I would love to see the gunbarrel sequence at the end of the PTS like they did in Casino Royale. I really liked the idea of having the Bond theme at the end of the film.

You are not, my dear friend, a true Bond fan in the strictest sense of the word! If you were you would go for the classic touch.

I'd love to see Daniel Craig's version of the classic gunbarrel.

As would I; let's hope they do it. :D

I don't care where they put the gunbarrel sequence or how they do it. It's not a particularly important part of the film to me, and however they decide it works best within the film, then fine. If it's not included, I can't say that I would be upset because honestly I don't think that I'd miss it.

---That is a very ignorant comment you made. However I do disagree with him, and want an old style Gunbarrel with Craig strutting his way across the screen.

I'm another hoping for a regular gunbarrel with Daniel Craig entering from the right and shooting the hell out of the camera! Quite happy with the blood effect from CASINO ROYALE though. Then perhaps the gunbarrel can open on to a nice panoramic of Mr White's lakeside villa.

D_mned straight! :P

Also, what if he does it sans tuxedo? I've always considered that wardrobe requirement to be a sad relic of the Roger Moore era... :D

I'd still like him in a suit at least. I don't want him wandering across the screen in his blue swimming trunks.

Love the idea of it then opening out onto Mr White's house and the lake again.

I'll have the old GB, with the dancing dots, and then the rest, Bond walks, stops, shoots, and blood drips. Not like Pierce's gbs though, I'll have the background go back to the orginal, not bright white, but shade of gray and light brown.

True. A very ignorant comment for which I apologise, especially if I offended. Forgive me as I was under the influence of alcohol by the loads and was, I must point out, plastered beyond reason. However, it is my humble opinion that a true Bond fan in the stricktest sense of the word would not want to see a Bond film start off without the classic GBS. Whoever says it is not an integral part of the film doesn't know what the heck he/she is on about. Punto e basta. Ignorant comment or not it is my opinion. It is, I believe, tantamount as having a Bond film completely without the Bond theme. SACRILEDGE!! DAMNATION!! HELLFIRE!!

Count me in for a traditional gunbarrel. Having Craig wear a regular suit instead of a tuxedo would be a nice touch.

I agree Mr. Solo. In Sean's films all the GBS were with a smart suit and tie. I'll go with that.

All of which reminds me...(and I know this is a ridiculously trivial question)...does anyone know why Roger Moore switched from suit to tux for his gunbarrel? I know it had to be refilmed for TSWLM because LALD and TMWTGG weren't widescreen. But why the actual switch in wardrobe.

When it first occurred, I thought that maybe they decided to do something "special" because it was the 10th movie. But then they kept using it. When Dalton and Brosnan took over, they kept the tux look.

Good question Mr. Solo but no idea myself :D Anybody out there know why?

I prefer the gun barrel sequence in CASINO ROYALE. I liked how it segued into the story for the pre-title sequence. Very original.

Yeah, I liked it in Casino Royale but to continue doing that sort of thing would gte tired and old. I think the classic gun barrel has to come back at some point.

Why? The CR gun barrel has only been used once. And the "classic gun barrel" is already tired and old.

You're not talking about those "cheap bookie" hats that Craig has been wearing this past year, are you?

Yeah, that would be cool. Don't mind a nice twist on the music either, a la Kamen in LTK.

Kamen's gunbarrel music alone makes LTK my favorite gunbarrel sequence of them all. I'd want the one for Bond 22 to sound similar; keep the feel of the traditional Bond theme, but more sinister and urgent.
