Just got to watching the new episode (as I missed it on Monday b/c we were picking a new play for the fall). One word: RIVITING! Good acting, great storyline!

Just one complaint:

BTW, What happened to Chloe? Is she completely out of the season? I keep expecting Chloe to just walk back into the FBI HQ.

Anil Kapoor! I'm probably going to have a hard time watching him as a bad guy, because all I'll be thinking is "Who wants to be a muhlanaire?" lol

Since 24 is quite a few weeks behind in Australia, I’ve been staying away from this thread. But, I’ve got to say from what I've seen so far, it's right up there with the best. Based on the comments I’ve skim read on here, things are about to get even better. Can't wait to see it all unfold. B)

Mary Lynn Rajskub has been on maternity leave. She'll be back in a few weeks.

I think I remember reading something about this before they decided on Washington DC for this season. NYC would be a cool setting. They have done a much better job mixing in location shots in DC than I anticipated so NYC should work great.

I wish they'd actually be shooting in NYC. According to ET, most of the season will be shot in LA. I know how these things go, but still...

It would be nice for them to shoot entirely in New York, but given that they filmed about 90% of this season in California, I think they've done a decent job of presenting it as Washington. I'm sure they will get a few dozen genuine NYC yellow taxi cabs sent over to LA, and then have Jack smash them up - just for that extra touch of authenticity!

I found that very strange, but then again, Flags Of Our Fathers was shot in Iceland or Greenland.

Shows that they're doing something right! The green screen work is really decent in 24.

In the finished version, this is from Episode 10, and shows Jack and Tony sitting on the steps of the Capitol. If you didn't already know, it's pretty tough to notice.

I can't help but wonder, consdidering how devious the writers on this show are: is there any chance at all that we've all been faked out again? I mean, there's no doubt that Tony snuffed Moss...but could Moss have been one of the bad guys and...etc, etc, etc?

Yeah that's what I meant. Though tonight Will Patton made an appearance apparently as the man Tony's working for, so I guess that other guy won't be showing up. Or will he? B)

Pretty much a filler episode last night, but still managed to include Tony at his most evil. Looking forward to seeing more of Alan Wilson (Will Patton's character).

"Alan Wilson"...? And people said Dominic Greene was a dud name for a villain! B)

I'm looking forward to Voight hamming it up next week when he gets to have a friendly chat with Bauer

Tony needs an exorcist and Jack ain't afraid of pea soup. I do hope they wrap up Jack's illness within the next two episodes. It's been a moving story line...but it's time to move it along so we can see Jack back in action.

Given that there is no certain cure, I think Jack will be struggling with his illness for the remainder of the season (and perhaps beyond), but doubt he'll be stuck in the office. He'll go after Tony at some point.

One of the better filler episodes out there, and it ends on the right note. I'm interested to see what next week brings, and I really can't wait to hear what the people Tony works for plans to do with the canister.
