Bauer has unleashed his fury once again! Obviously this McCullough person had a connection to Starkwood.

If that happened down here in the South, we would give him a parade and the key to the city. He did come to Brooke Shields defense, just remember that. Dude should have apologized.

Nasty habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time that girl.

WOW!!!!!
What an episode that was!
I am, not stunned, but excited for the season finale! I can't wait to see what happens when Jack confronts Tony (again).

But again, why is Jack complaining that his disease have no cure??? Couldn't Kim just come and give him her stem cells? (My guess, Jack wants to see the job through, first. Then, when things have settled down, it might happen...)

Yeah, as some have stated before, I have a feeling Kim will be back too. Her "departure" a couple of weeks ago seemed way too abrupt.

I would love to see her help cure Jack as I don't want to sit through all of Season 8 seeing Jack dying. Besides, he may die in the line of duty anyway, as Kiefer has stated he would like his character to do!

USA Today promises a great episode tonight...adding that it features one "Oh my God, not again twist."

What in the world could that be?

I've been wondering the same thing. I heard a radio commercial today that promised it would "knock you off of the couch" or something like that.

Another GREAT episode tonight! I'm soooo excited for next week's finale! Makes me wonder what this mysterious organization is...Quantum, perhaps? B)

Quick question: What did the President's daughter "execute" on the computer? Was that the plan to wipe her computer clean?

Also, who did Agent Pierce call? And for what reason did he call him?

WOW!!! Tonight was one of the best episodes of the series (I know I have said that a couple of times already this year)! B) Just when I thought Jack was starting to go soft, BADASS Jack returned in full force!

And regarding the twist, without giving it away for those who have not seen it yet, "24" has now come full circle!

No, it was her sending the payment to the hitman (I did enjoy that the two options for payment for an assassination were 'Cancel' and 'Execute' B) )

Also, who did Agent Pierce call? And for what reason did he call him?

He called Ethan, the former chief of staff, to ask about how to check a voice recorder in his office, which Olivia had been working in. Obviously Pierce suspects she had something to do with Hodges' death, and wants to listen to the recorder to get proof.

Fun episode, but it did strain credibility a little with some contrivances, like Kim's plane being conveniently delayed so she would stick around until the exact moment they needed to use her as leverage

And Jack managed to locate, chase, and subdue Tony in the space of about 43 seconds!

Anyway, good job on Kim for spotting Cruz Pezuela from The Shield eyeballing her. Too bad she didn't recognize the goofy husband as a murderer from Dexter though!

Looks like a fun finale next week anyway. If I interpreted a scene in the preview correctly :

Fine episode indeed. My only real qualm: I'm not so sure about the imperiling of Kim. 24's greatest twists always leave me with a Yeah, Baby sense of perfection. Inevitability. This one, though, left me thinking: Man, I dunno...

That aside, the finale should be magnificent fun.

Oh, okay. But why was she paying the hitman? Does she want someone else "out of the way?"

Good episode. I don't think the plot twist was as shocking as it was billed to be but it does look to set about an interesting end to the season. The first Chloe & Janice exchange was priceless.

Thanks, dinovelvet - I thought that agent Jack sent to watch over Kim looked familiar.

Yes, I was going to say it was nice to see some byplay (if that's the correct term) between those two. I was waiting for that for awhile now. Classic responses from Chloe to Janice's condescending behavior! B)

Lots to clear up in the last two hours, but I'm hopeful that we will discover Tony's motivation and that Olivia will be brought down. I have a feeling either Tony, or Kim, or both, will bite the dust though.

She was paying the hitman for Hodges' death. The hitman killed Hodges before Olivia paid him because he was told she was trustworthy.

I'd put my money on Tony too. In some odd twist, I'm actually feeling a little sorry for Olivia but I'm sure it will pass. B)

I was inadvertently spoiled about the fate of one of those two earlier. Either way, both Tony and Kim have a very eventful two hours to end this season.

Plus, for fans of a Charles Logan return...

If they let her off the hok, that will be a massive copout and may even destroy the President's credibility. I'm not sure of the law here--but wasn't Olivia guilty of high treason in leaking the various info to her Press playmate?

Nice! I guess reading Double or Die was a good longterm decision as my anagram skills are becoming top notch! B) Joking of course, but I never really considered until now how Tony truly is a genuine foil to Jack. The season finale can't come soon enough!

If after tonight you get depressed at the lack of Bauer in your life, fear not, as season 8 has just been announced as debuting on Sunday Jan 17, 9-11 pm*. (Erm...yes, I said 9-11. Next season takes place in New York City. Read into that what you will)

*subject to change pending any possible Kiefer headbutt-related jail time B)
