Clever find Vauxhall. I never notice that. For those who were perplexed by the Dubaku lasagna discussion a few episodes ago, it's just come to my attention that this was most likely an in-joke by the writers... I'm sure many of you were quicker than me and noticed, but LASAGNA is of course an anagram of SANGALA!

True, but--even more interesting--it's also an anagram for Gala-san. My money is on an unexpected Japanese connection.

LOL! When I first saw his character, I thought that he was the VP. Maybe he's the head of some military corporation.By the way, who the hell is Jon Voight's character supposed to be? Philip Bauer 2.0?
P.S. I can't wait to see Jack torture Voight. I'd love to see that scene...

BAUER: "WHY D'YOU WANNA KILL THE PRESIDENT?!?!?"
VOIGHT: *yawn*
BAUER: "ANSWER MEEEAAEEEAAA!!!"
(He flips the chair holding Voight over.)
VOIGHT: "Checkie? Can't say line without checkie..."
BAUER: *groan* "Oh, all right."
(A production assistant comes in and hands Voight a pre-notarized check; he eagerly pockets it.)
VOIGHT: "Um... I'm the power behind the government."
(He picks at his nails.)
BAUER: "HOW?!?!?!?"
VOIGHT: "Checkie..."

In what way, Vaux? I don't think she's going to try to betray her mother...Good episode. Love Jon Voight's character and look forward to him getting more and more to do. The President's daughter looks destined to be the next Sherry Palmer...

If not betray her, then certainly manipulate her I reckon. The exchange between Olivia and Ethan suggested that she is power-hungry. I'm not ready to trust her yet. Also...In what way, Vaux? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! RIP Bill. You will be missed...BBBIIIIILLLLL!!!
Bill will definately will be missed. BUT in the world of 24, he may not be dead yet (not basing this on any rumors, just going by past history).

Another sensational episode! Only eleven more episodes to go. Let's see if they can keep the pace up.
Now, how much more does poor Jack have to do to earn respect from some people? You have an uncompassionate, by-the-book FBI agent that still does not get that this is a national crisis, not a drug cartel investigation. And Renee gets the short end of the stick from him! Well, something tells me Renee will be rewarded for her heroics by the end of the season, and I like how her character is turning into Jack Bauer part 2 as the season progresses!
And what became of that slimy senator that has it in for Jack? Could he really still prosecute Jack after Jack and Bill saved his life and the life of the president and all the others there? Time will tell.

In 'Redemption', he was seen standing pretty close to the President at the inauguration which suggests he has some kind of legitimate political standing. He could also be in league with the vice president, who seemed to be doing his best to get the prez killed last night!
