Outstanding episode & next week's doubleshot of 24 has the potential to be some of the finest hours in the series. The previews had a Vince Flynn vibe ala his Transfer of Power novel.
Agreed, that was a good book. Isn't Flynn a consultant on the show. I remember reading that somewhere.

Morris will be taking over from Chloe for a few episodes. This was a necessity due to Mary Lynn Rajskub's real-life pregnancy.
I fear that either Aaron or Bill will not survive the White House attack.
Trust me. As I've predicted, Bill will head down Glory Road because of his Roman haircut.

It's not "Roman" at all; it's more Jesus-y than anything else...Trust me. As I've predicted, Bill will head down Glory Road because of his Roman haircut.Morris will be taking over from Chloe for a few episodes. This was a necessity due to Mary Lynn Rajskub's real-life pregnancy.

Season 7 DVD will be out on May 19, 2009 and will have the standard 6 discs plus a special features disc. It will also be on Blue Ray on that date as well. I for one hope this is true, as this season rocks! The classic 24 is back!

A May 19th DVD release for Season 7 would be great!
Seems absurdly fast. Isn't that going to be about a week after the season finale, assuming there are no interruptions from now until the end?
And am I the only one who loves the show, but just doesn't care to watch it a second time? Is it all that thrilling the second time around? I've caught a few re-runs here and there but it just never seems the same when you know what's going to go down.

I hardly ever see re-runs on FOX. Except just before a new episode. I doubt this is the season finale.

On the DVD, I found a posting on TV Shows On DVD confirming the May date but naturally qualifying it as subject to change. It does seem fast for a release but, given the delay with this season due to the writer's strike, Fox may want to try & generate a little revenue from this sooner rather than later.

Oh, sorry. That is strange though, don't see why its being released later. The same with the young James Bond novels, published in Britain first, then much later, its released in the US.

It's fox so the may release will be region coded, and we europeans are sat upon.
I'm going to download the whole thing, serves them right. If no region code, it would be a first day buy for me.
Uh, yeah, you go ahead and "stick it to the man" by downloading something that airs on tv for free!

I have just read that the powers-that-be are actively considering that a romance between Jack and Renee will play an active part in Season 8. I'm happy that this hopefully guarantees Renee's survival in Season 7, but I don't approve of the general concept. I do take some solace though in the fact that apparently: "It's not a romance in the traditional sense of the word. It's a lot more broken and jagged than what you might imagine."
I can't see a traditional romance. I'd expect them to go hunting together or play tagteam Death Wish. But I do think it's high time for Jack to get involved. The lonesome hero bit's grown old. 8 years will be long enougn for any man to find a girl.

If its in the show, it would be 8 days. I do agree on the Jack and Renee getting involved part. But what about Larry, Renee's boss. I thought they had something going.

There certainly seems to be something going on there, but I'm not entirely sure what. I've noticed that neither have directly alluded to a romance. I think we'll learn more over the season. But what about Larry, Renee's boss. I thought they had something going.

He reminds me more of Uncle Joey from Full House...True, Isn't the guy who plays him, Michael Douglas's son?
