I love that site. I don't even watch TV anymore. We only have it for my little girl.

Alas, one of my favorite 24 characters of all time is no longer with us, yet he was the most competent head of a Federal Agency in the series history. RIP Chiggy, you will be forever missed (Salute)

Again, this doesn't apply to me, but most of the UK are a week behind the US, so perhaps a little less explicit with the spoilers if that's ok. Thanks B)

The season continues to roll along on at a brisk pace. I'm digging how this story keeps evolving throughout the day. I was really liking Bill in the Secret Service role but, alas, it was not meant to be a long term job.

I have stumbled across an anagram which is a spoiler for tonight's episode, although I don't know the answer yet myself, so guess away! Possible useful words that I've noticed come from the phrase so far include "doomsday", "death" or "town"...

Vauxhall, to avoid complaints, I think you need to put "spoliers" on the forum title.

Glory hallelujah! Last night's episode, imo, was the best of a truly great season. There's no way to go into detail without spoiling it for others. So, let me just say: it had the best fight ever, exceptionally fine acting by Sutherland, plus a script with some meat on its bones. Bravo!

The atmosphere of the season is changing rapidly for the better. The first few episodes failed to ignite that old 24 "What's going to happen next?" feel in me. Now, however, it feels like the show is back to it's predictable and stylish ways, and is proving itself to be capable of going a few more seasons. Phenomenal episode again last night. The fight scene wasn't bad and it was nice to see Jack commandeer that digger like a certain other spy. Very much looking forward to next weeks episode. B)

It feels like I'm saying the same thing every week, but fantastic episode again. The fight scene at the end was tremendous, the script is measured and the twists are better concealed than in recent years. There is no longer even any wooden supporting cast. Bob Gunton and Cherry Jones in particular are absolutely terrific, and I'm looking forward to seeing how that sub-plot pans out. As for Jon Voight, we've still seen relatively little of him, but he seems to steal every episode. Roll on next week, and the mysterious shipment.

Ditto for me! This could be the best season of the series if this momentum keeps up. A far cry from Season 6, that's for sure!

I agree. That little humanizing scene where he seems to display a conscience was wonderfully done.

I guess I need to clear that up. In the show Space: Above and Beyond, James Morrison's character shot down an alien pilot named Chiggy. It's an affectionate nickname. My nicknames for other characters:

President Taylor-President Sheriff Big Hat (She was in Signs)
Henry Taylor-Skeletor!
Larry Moss-Agent Douchebag
Janis Gold-Bowler Girl
Aaron Pierce-Da Man
Jack Bauer-The Man
Renee Walker-Agent Red Hottie
Sen. Mayer-Red Boddiker
Jonas Hodges-1989 LeBaron

I could go on, but my brain hurts.

Monday night may have been one of the coolest kills ever!

Agree on the fight scene & John Voight has been terrific. Ever since the introduction of Olivia, though, the President seems to be a little less realistic to me. Olivia's move into a high level advisor role just seemed to move a little to quickly given the past history there. Although the story line does look to be developing into something interesting even if it does have a Sherry Palmer type ring to it. B)

On the DVD end, Fox confirmed the Region 1 release is indeed set for May 19th. Cover art here.

FREAKIN AWESOME. The best episode that I've seen, the fight in the end was brilliantly coordinated, the perfect amount of suspense. I love this show.

I wonder if this means that S8 will be a sequel of sorts to S7, similar to CR-QOS.

And you posted about that Indian actor being cast for next season, does that give a clue as to a possible location, or angle that the story will take, I wonder. An Indian villain would be fresh, unless they've hired him to play a generic Muslim character or something.
