Granted, but they charge extra for every 100 kms. I wish Sean Connery would join the 007 tribute at the Oscars.

Granted, but in the middle of the presentation, being heavily drunk, he moons the crowd and flips them off leading to a backlash against the 007 franchise and Bond 24 being put on indefinite hold.

 

 

I wish more people would appreciate Quantum of Solace instead of denouncing it.

( I, for one, appreciate it's good qualities and overall enjoy it..granted it has flaws and Skyfall is definitely a vast improvement, but QoS still has great moments for me..)

 

Granted!! The public suddenly do a complete 360 and heap tons of praise upon Quantum of Solace...DVD and Blu-Ray sales begin to pick up and gather speed..as a result, it completely outsells the DVD and Blu-Ray's of Skyfall, which is left to gather dust on most store shelves.

I wish that Bond 50 had Skyfall in it.

Granted, it comes with a rough cut of the film from before all of the final edits were made and as a result the film is 3 1/2 hours long, contains many mistakes and does not include Thomas Newman's score. As a result, Skyfall's reputation is damaged and the real version is never released on DVD or Blu-Ray.

 

 

I wish Archer would contain more Bond references in the vain of Mallory telling Lana "try not to cock it up!"

Granted they use all the Mallory quotes all at once in a special episode which gives the show a lot of new viewers and from then on the show spoofs Ralph Fiennes movies. 

 

I wish Bond 24 features a great car chase.

Granted, but it is so long a scene that it ultimately ends up on the cutting room floor. I wish that internet trolls never existed.

I wish Bond 24 would feature a segment in Australia.

Granted but Bond 24 turns out to actually be a remake of the 1996 film 'Race the Sun'. Halle Berry reprises her role as Jinx and Bond and her are undercover high school teachers who take their stunts to Australia to compete in a solar powered car race across the continent. Blofeld returns as the lead driver in rival team. 

 

I wish Bond 24 features a ending credits song.

I wish the Quantum of Solace DVD contained a second version, containing deleted scenes incorporated back into the film, with alternate takes of the action scenes that are less confusing, and Shirley Bassey's No Good in Goodbye song over the titles. The film would run 2 hours, make sense and put an end to all the whinging.

Granted, however that was the ultimate goal for EON and after it tops Harry Potter no more Bond films are made.

 

 

 

I wish Diamonds Are Forever followed the plot of the novel.

Granted, but audiences are even more disappointed with this version than they would have been with the one we got, and the series fizzles out in 1972.

Granted.....but the one small catch is that your prize ONLY consists of airfare to the countries of your favorite Bond locations.. You are responsible for booking and paying for hotels and arranging your own tours and dining..

 

 

I wish that there were some sort of "Wonka-Golden Ticket" type of hunt involved with the DVD / Blu-Ray release of Skyfall !

Granted...but absolutely nobody knows who the hell the Spang brothers are and they totally go unnoticed during their cameo scene in Bond 29.

 

 

I wish that Chris Nolan would direct and that Christian Bale and the rest of the Batman/Inception cast would be involved in various roles in a future Bond film!

Granted but once the film is over you wake up and learn its all a dream. 

 

I wish Kathyn Bigelow would direct Bond24.

Granted: 'Bond Dreams of Bats' opens next November, with Leonardo DiCaprio as 007 and Cillian Murphy as the villainous Dr. Crane. The film is cut together out of scenes from Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, The Beach and Catch Me If You Can. It makes no sense and looks just like the two-hour mashup that it is (and probably already has a trailer available to view on YouTube). After a week at the cheap seats it goes direct to video where it sits on shelves unwanted, and is only remembered as the halfassed production that killed the EON franchise.

 

I wish EON would make a more-or-less faithful film adaptation of Ian Fleming's The Man With The Golden Gun.
