Granted, it leaves you elated when you read of the demise of the series.
I wish EON had stuck with the ordering after TSWLM and did FYEO instead of having MR capitalize on the space craze left over by Star Wars.

Posted 05 January 2013 - 08:00 AM
Granted...but the ordering shake up of the films pushes Moonraker all the way into the Pierce Brosnan era (after Goldeneye), and it's such a flop that the Bond films are put on hiatus for 8 years and Pierce Brosnan ends up only doing two films total..
I wish that Javier Bardem's Silva would have escaped at the end of Skyfall so that he could have made a re-appearance in Bond 24 or 25..
Posted 05 January 2013 - 08:10 AM
Granted, he kills Bond too and takes his place as the new 007.
I wish Liam Neeson would be cast as a Bond villain in either 24 or 25.
Posted 07 January 2013 - 09:02 AM
Granted! Neeson is cast as another former MI6 agent turned villain who kidnaps Miss.Moneypenny as she leaves the building. Trying to contact her after she is reported missing, Daniel Craig's Bond ends up conversing with Neeson on his mobile phone and warns that he will find him, and he will kill him. It turns out into a strange action film anchoring the 'Taken' films as Bond races to find Moneypenny as Neeson doesn't do much except look dangerous and shout every now and then.
In the end, the film ends with Neeson actually NOT being a bad guy, but it was an elaborate set-up by Mallory and Moneypenny as an evaluation of James Bond's skills after the events of 'Skyfall' determining his mind and values are still at the highest peak.
Neeson is praised for his convincing turn, and his cast in future Bond films as Agent 006, who works with 007 on future missions. It's revelead his name is Alexander Trevelyan.
I wish that we had some James Bond endorsed foods to buy, call it shameless marketing and promotion!
Posted 07 January 2013 - 05:59 PM
Wot, Zukovsky's Finest Beluga caviar isn't enough for you?
Posted 08 January 2013 - 07:43 PM
Granted....As part of Bond's 55th anniversary, the following delightful food items are made available to Bond fans, worldwide in grocery stores...
Nick-Nack's Nuts (sorry, that sounded bad.. ): Only the freshest peanuts are sold in cans with the image of the the late, Herve Villachaize in his butler's uniform on the side.. Plus collect enough coupons which are on the lids of the cans and you can send away for a replica, water pistol of Nick Nack's mini pistol from The Man With The Golden Gun..
For Your Olives Only Freshly preserved olives from the same Madrid orchard where Bond and Melina's Yellow Citroen 2CV takes a "drive in the country"
A View To A Crab Soft-shelled crabs, straight from the waters of San Francisco Bay, where once Zorin's well pumps operated..
The Piz Gloria Special...Pre-packaged in a lovely gift basket, the contents include...Potatoes, Chicken, Sliced Meat, Rice, Bananas, Indian Naan bread, a bottle of Campari and Corsican brandy.
and for dessert, The Silva Delight...a milk chocolate rat sitting on top of a freshly picked and imported coconut..
I wish that EON would take some of these ideas and make them a reality!
Posted 08 January 2013 - 09:10 PM
(nice new pic Dove!)
Granted, we get Nick Nack's Nuts, the Silva Delight and A View to A Crab. However, the last one is not a food, but instead something you get when you go to the doctor.
I wish the next Bond game releases with a polished story, great visuals, Daniel Craig doing Bond's voice, other great actors/actresses using motion capture and is universally well received like Skyfall.
Posted 10 January 2013 - 03:49 AM
Granted Bond 24 is then directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich and Bond's new sidekick a Jar Jar Binks like tag along.
I wish we get to see Craig's Bond in his Commander uniform.
Posted 10 January 2013 - 06:27 AM
Granted, it's at his funeral and Bond is buried in his Commander uniform.
I wish Bond 24 will be the best Bond film yet.
Posted 10 January 2013 - 01:11 PM

Granted, it is so good that they retire the series knowing it can never be topped. Thanks a lot.
I wish Sam Mendes, Adele, Craig, and the rest of the new Skyfall regulars return for Bond 24 and Bond 25.
Posted 10 January 2013 - 05:58 PM
Granted...Mendes and company all return for Bond 24 and Bond 25....however the two films turn out to be exact duplicates of Skyfall, same characters, same plot, same locations..BUT the twist is both films have different endings so Bond fans can experience three different outcomes to the Skyfall storyline (ala the movie "Clue", ending A, ending B, and ending C)...Unfortunately this experiment does not go over well, box-office wise and producers are forced to can the Bond franchise for a few years and Daniel Craig walks away from the role..
I wish that the rumored reports of Connery joining Moore, Lazenby, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig onstage at the Oscars DO turn out to be accurate!
Posted 10 January 2013 - 06:50 PM
Granted, he shows up completely plastered and vomits all over the stage and the other 5 leave in disgust vowing never to do anything Bond related again. What a way to celebrate 50 years of James Bond.
I wish Gala Brand to be in Bond 24.
Posted 10 January 2013 - 09:57 PM
Granted Bond 24 is about Hugo Drax's return back from the coldness of outer space along with what is left of his Moonraker grew, set out to get revenge on England.
I wish Quantum will return in Bond 24 only for Bond to discover it is a subsidiary of Specter, and Bond 25 features Blofeld. (I don't really wish this but its fun to imagine.)
Posted 11 January 2013 - 03:33 AM
Granted, it plays out like Goldeneye: Rogue Agent. It centers on a different agent dismissed from MI6 for recklessness and he joins forces with Quantum who is trying to break away from SPECTRE. It is a battle between Mr. White and Dominic Greene and in Bond 25 the rogue agent joins forces with Le Chiffre and takes on Blofeld. The storyline makes no sense and hurts the reputation on the franchise causing Bond 26 to be put on hiatus. However, since Daniel Craig is still under contract for 2 films as he hasn't appeared in 24 or 25, he returns in 2028 for Bond 26 at the ripe young age of 60.
I wish one of the other 5 Bond actors were to return to the franchise in a minor role as an homage to the previous films.
Posted 11 January 2013 - 08:32 AM
Granted! In Bond 24, Daniel Craig is chasing a villain across a snowy mountain resort, his first time in the snow as Bond. During the chase, he runs through an ice-skating park and slides across on his belly.
As he slides past, a stunned man looks on drinking from a bottle of beer. The camera pulls to reveal it's Roger Moore, and he looks gob-smacked at the bottle, and then at Craig, and then raises his eyebrow.
I wish Timothy Dalton was more repsected for his run as Bond as he should be!
Posted 11 January 2013 - 08:03 PM
Granted! Timothy Dalton is SO respected by fans that due to public demand for his return to the role in '06 after Pierce Brosnan is let go, producers and Dalton agree to terms for his return. However, the structure and storyline of Casino Royale is completely rewritten to accomidate an aging 007.. The final result is that Casino Royale turns out to be this millennium's "Never Say Never Again".
I wish that I could own one of those gold-plated Corgi Aston Martin DB5 matchbox cars...
Posted 11 January 2013 - 10:26 PM
Granted, but it's a used one that has been played with so much that it is missing 2 wheels and all the paint is scratched off.
I wish a major setting for Bond 24 is in Spain.
Posted 12 January 2013 - 08:11 PM
Granted. Its called 'Bull-heart' and is about Bond running with the bulls. The film is banned in Spain and criticized for portraying Spain in a very stereotypical manor.
I wish Bond 24 was featured a villain or henchmen that would return in Bond 25.
Posted 12 January 2013 - 10:05 PM

(wrong MANNER )
Granted, Bond becomes the villain in Bonds 24 and 25.
I wish Bond 24 continues the trend of very little CGI.
Posted 14 January 2013 - 05:25 AM
Granted instead of CGI they use stop motion animation, miniature models, matte paintings, and on-set visual effects.
I wish Sean Connery shows up to the Oscars this year to be with all the other Bond actors as a tribute to the character.
Posted 14 January 2013 - 02:28 PM
Granted, Sean shows up drunker than a skunk. In a state of staggering drunkedness he turns and moon's the television audience shouting "You can kish my Aston Martin!" (Actually that sounds quite entertaining)
I wish I had an autographed picture of all six Bonds.
Posted 14 January 2013 - 04:01 PM
Granted! You get a nice glossy picture but it looks to be a mash of 6 silhouette's of James Bond amid a celebration of Ian Fleming's new audiobook releases and each silhouette has a signature underneath. You get Hugh Quarshie, Dan Stephens, Hugh Bonneville, Bill Nighy, David Tenant and Rosamund Pike - the actors who read each Bond audiobook in their respective roles!
I wish that 'Skyfall' wins those 5 Academy Awards!
Posted 14 January 2013 - 05:09 PM
Granted, however, we learn later that it was a computer glitch that was the reason Skyfall won each award. The Academy, being the pompous asses the are, demand EON return the awards so they can be given to the rightful (but probably less deserving) winners. Barbara and Michael refuse to give the awards back and the Academy takes up a lawsuit against MGM and EON productions causing Bond 24 to be put on hold and Daniel Craig resigns as Bond as the hiatus between Skyfall and Bond 24 is even longer than between QoS and SF.
I wish Boyd's new book is actually a worthy entry into the literary canon, unlike either Deaver's or Faulks' novels.
Posted 14 January 2013 - 09:01 PM
Geez thanks, I just got 'Carte Blanche' by Deaver and still haven't read it. Oh well.
Granted, in fact his books are so well liked that he writes as many as Fleming or Gardner but they created a spin-off direct to video film series that doesn't do so well.
I wish Bond 24 keeps the gun barrel at the end.
Posted 14 January 2013 - 10:22 PM
Traitor!

Well that's just my opinion, don't let it influence yours. Anyway....
Granted, it's the final gunbarrel they ever use and Bond 25 and each film after doesn't have it.
I wish people would stop whining about the Skyfall gunbarrel being at the end.
Posted 15 January 2013 - 03:24 AM
Granted - new fans embrace the idea of having the gun barrel at the end and start complaining about all the 'old' movies having it at the beginning, saying it is 'wrong' and that they should all be at the end. There is so much pressure from these newbies that EON/MGM/CBS/Fox give in and all subsequent digital releases have the gun barrel transplanted from the beginning to the end, and Barbara & Michael are forced to claim that they and Cubby always wanted it this way, only United Artists insisted on the change. This precedent leads to other revisionist changes which render the films even less recognizable than the first three Star Wars movies became after Lucas was done retro-tinkering with them. When DVD and Bluray become obsolete, there is no way to watch the films in their original format.
Hopefully I'll be dead before then.
I wish the next James Bond will be everything that Clive Owen could have been - Timothy Dalton looks with Daniel Craig chops.
Posted 15 January 2013 - 05:21 PM
Granted...James Bond #007 turns out to be the perfect blend of Dalton's looks and Craig's acting chops...however...for his first film, Robert Wade and Neil Purvis return to write the script and Lee Tamahori returns to direct...and you thought Die Another Day was a disaster??
I wish that it wasn't so freaking cold outside!!
Posted 15 January 2013 - 05:26 PM
Granted, it's as hot as the surface of Venus outside. Everything is melting. The snow (well that's already gone), the cars, the roads, and everything else has caught on fire. Enjoy!
I wish this headache I've had for about 5 days would just the f*^& away!!!!
Posted 15 January 2013 - 08:50 PM
Granted but then you get sick with the flu.. :/
I wish that I get all A's this semester!
