Granted, however, the result of this is that Broccoli never replaces Connery as 007 and the series ends after Connery's final film in 1971. (I'll say for argument's sake he plays Bond in OHMSS and leaves for good after DAF).

I wish Bond will endure forever and be continually imaginative and loved by all future generations.

Granted....the Bond series continues to go until the Earth expires in about 5 billion years or so...Bond #4,799 is beginning pre-production just as *blip* all life on Earth is extinguished...

I wish that all-day Bond marathons were manditory once a month here at work!

I see no downside to Milos' punchline.

Granted, but your bosses choose all the films you like least and you're required to watch them every month until you tire of the whole series, but still the marathons go on...

I wish middle-school students weren't so lazy and obnoxious, and didn't think they were so clever.

Granted but then those traits translate into high school students and they are 10x worse.

I wish that I did good on my chemistry test today!

Granted, but it is revealed later that the grade that was in your school's online database was lost from a crash of the system. The grade is not accounted for in your report as a result.

I wish we actually got  a decent Bond game.

Granted. Now presenting Monopoly James Bond edition. The pieces are Rosa Klebb's shoe, the DB5, an (exploding) pen, the Disco Volante, the moonbuggy and the voodoo prince Baron Samedi (the one from the novel that's just a stick with a top hat). Some of the locales are Vauxhall, the volcano base, Atlantis, Isthmus City and Skyfall Lodge. The railroads are replaced with the Orient Express, the London Underground, the Montenegro Bullet Train and Trevelyan's Train. Skyfall and the Volcano Lair take the places or Park Place and Boardwalk. However, because of Skyfall's success, the game costs $5,000.

I wish Mallory is to also have a large part in future Bond films in the way Judi Dench's M was involved.

Granted...Mallory's given such a huge role in Bond 26 that he accounts for 90% screen time while James Bond only accounts for 10%...Producers realize this is a huge mistake and thusly for Bond 27, they employ the "Man With The Golden Gun' plot in which Bond is brainwashed into killing off M...Unlike the book, the film actually has Bond succeding in his mission.

I wish that we could have an AC/DC song or two be used in the context of a future Bond film, a la  The Clash's "London Calling" or The Animals' "Boom, Boom, Boom"

Granted - AC/DC does the whole soundtrack, which is fine for metalheads, but no so fine for Bond music fans and those who remember Queen's soundtracks for Flash Gordon and Highlander. Yet the disc sell so well among non-Bond fans that EON continues the trend, farming out future music duties to the likes of Motley Crue, Twisted Sister and The Black Eyed Peas.

I wish for B24 to have a TB- YOLT- or TSWLM-styled plot and climax. Bring back the boiler-suited minions!

Granted, Bond 24's climax takes place in a flooded Volcano Lair that is shot very poorly under water.

I wish Bond 24 would give some insight to Bond's career prior to Casino Royale.

Granted Bond 24 turns out to be a prequel to CR but is just a shoot for shoot remake DIE HARD 2 with the same cast and altered title 'Die Hard 2 Die Hardest'

I wish Connery shows up to the Oscars for a reunion.

(I think we've done this one already....oh well)

Granted, Connery shows up and the appearance is so well received that EON pays Connery $100 million to play James Bond again. Hope you enjoy Bond 24: From A View to a Retirement Home with leading Bond girl Betty White.

I wish we would eventually get a Bond film with Bond receiving an assignment that he has moral obligations to such as assassinating a foreign leader or something in the vain of his refusing to kill Kara/Trigger in The Living Daylights.

...So watch The Living Daylights.Wish already granted - Bond has a moral obligation to assassinate General Pushkin, but ultimately refuses.

That was easy.

I wish I had a video projector for watching movies on my wall.

Yeah, but his mission wasn't to kill Pushkin. M never gives that order, Koskov wants him to kill Puskin. But anyway as for yours.....

Granted, but it's broken.

I wish my relatives didn't just get slammed with 3 1/2 feet of snow.

(Mine did too, Seawolf..fortunately everyone's okay..hope your family is doing well too)

Granted...all the snow that was headed the East Coast's way, suddenly does a complete 180 and dumps over the Midwest...God knows we need as much moisture as possible here in Colorado..

I wish that there was a limited edition Skyfall DVD set which includes two martini glasses and a shaker!

(My family's okay, they are just heavily snowed in. Glad yours is doing fine)

Granted, however the DVD is actually part of the Martini glass making it unwatchable.

I wish the PM "did put up the bounty."

Yes.. PM is Prime Minister and the expression that Clair Dowar used, "...putting up the bunting.." basically meant "Excuse me for not raising the banners of celebration" at M's defending MI6's record..

To get back to the wish:

Granted - M's tenure is celebrated, all is forgiven and Judi Dench goes on to play M with exponentially more screen-time. Daniel Craig makes only a cameo appearance in B25, where he's rescued by M in a Die Hard/Rambo fashion. The Gareth Mallory character is dropped altogether.

I wish that Ben Whishaw's comments are accurate and that there is no delay in the production of (the real) B24.

Granted unfortunately Mendes does NOT return and J.J. Abrams is chosen to direct and he decides to bring back Judi Dench as a ghost.

I wish I know what John Logan is thinking.

Good enough for me! ;) Anyhoo....

Granted, the temp rises and all the snow melts turning into water. However, immediately after everything melts a giant blast of arctic air arrives just in time to refreeze all of the melted snow. It's now ice. Enjoy your drive in.

I wish at E3 we would get footage of a new Bond game on PS4 to go with all of the shiny new Playstation 4 footage!

Granted....For Bond 24, the gunbarrel is placed immediately after the opening titles...for Bond 25 the barrel is placed before the Columbia /MGM logo...Bond 26, multiple gunbarrels are used throughout the movie ala the spinning Batman logo in the old Adam West '60s Batman TV show.

I wish that I could afford to buy a Tom Ford James Bond suit or tux!

Granted, it's released in Canada just like everywhere else, but if flops at the box office and no further Bond films are released in Canada and plans to shoot in Canada for Bond 25 are scrapped.

I wish we would get a glimpse at Quantum's leader in Bond 24.

Granted, but it is PSY, who agreed to have a cameo in the film so he could fund his 'Gangnam Style II' video.

I wish Watchdogs has Bond as an unlockable character.
