Wow, this is gonna be good. The music is great, Craig looks and sounds amazing and the look at the end of the trailer says it all. November 17 can't come fast enough for me. :D

Amazing how the last little detail at the end of the trailer completely changed almost everyone's view of DC in the last shot! He looks awesome!

Bee-yoo-tee-full.

May have already been pointed out in the other thread (sincerest apologies if it was), but I found it ironic that the card torn up at the end of the trailer is a Five of Spades.

...Brosnan was the fifth, wasn't he?

Blimey.

Whilst I suspect that might be reading a little too much into it, it's funny.

Ha! That's classic.

Ouch, I can hear the Brosnan devotees raging after that comment. I am sure that isn't why that card is torn.

Amazing teaser, the film looks to be outstanding and Daniel Craig looks fantastic and, as others have already mentioned, his voice is superb, really Fleming esque.

I love that line:

"So, you want me to be half monk, half hitman.."

Yes, that line is a good one. I love that shot of Vesper (presumably) climbing out of the water. Now there's a nice thing to see first thing in the morning.

Is it just me or does Judi Dench sound a bit tired? I love her acting and she is great as M, don't get me wrong, but from the voice-over she does sound like she isn't giving the role her full capacity. For lines where she is scowling Bond, Dench doesn't sound convincing. Just a thought.

The trailer looks AWESOME though. Love the new gun barrel.

i think Daniel Craig was the only one who could pull that off without it sounding cheesy, he has the perfect voice for it

Eh...it's a good Bond trailer but not above any of the others. Doesn't sell me as CR being a great Bond film for sure or dissuade me from thinking Craig not quite looking like Bond BUT IT IS A FUN TRAILER AND MAYBE CR WILL WORK OUT WELL--lets hope so. It reinforces that Craig's voice is his strongest attribute. IT is exciting to see ANY Bond trailer after such a long time but the movie itself will have to totally sell me on itself and Craig.

My gripes:

That, how to put it? Chocolate box (if that's the correct term) style of photography that also marred GOLDENEYE (during the beach scene between Bond and Natalya), particularly evident in the shots of Eva Green getting out of the water. A bit naff.

That weird and self-consciously "this is really cool.... no, really" shot of the Aston Martin, where it looks as though the camera tripod was doing a Leaning Tower of Pisa thing.

Everything moving too fast. If Sebastien Foucan is going to be going at that speed in the final print, he's going to look like Spiderman.

Sorry, I know I'm being a whingeing fanboy of the worst kind.

you can so tell your trying to be rational about the trailer with out starting an argument. I thought the trailer was great especially as it's the first Bond film trailer in 4 years

I liked it just didn't love it. And I agree--after a 4 year wait it was nice to see. Now we'll have to see if the movie is up to snuff or not.

I'm guessing (hoping) that that 'conversation' (if that's what it is) was taken out of context. It didn't really gel with me either.

I'm thoroughly excited about the movie, it's very clear to me know that I'll like Craig as Bond (unless they've somehow managed some editing magic here), the B&W shots look great, Craig's voice is great. But the JD's lines strike me as any other mediocre 'false sounding' dialogue out of any of the recent movies - hence I'm hoping that it's been edited down and that they'll sound better in context. I expect better from Dame Judi and Daniel Craig.

How has that final shot changed - I don't see any difference!

What's wrong with that shot? When I first saw the trailer I thought exactly what you're complaining about: "Wow that's really cool." Loomis my dear boy, are you griping just to gripe?

Is anyone able to tell me what car we can see in the beginning of the trailer ?

Looks like a Mercedes S-Class to me but I'm not sure.

Furthermore - who's going to drive it and what's up with the Ford deal (if it should be a Merc) ?

I believe the very beginning of the trailer represents the pretitles. Therefore it will probably be Dryden who is driving it.

Nope (but bear in mind that, as a fanboy, I tend to complain even when given precisely what I've been asking for for ages  ). As for what's wrong with that shot, all I can say is: it bugs me, for some strange reason.

Looking at it again, it is a bit familiar to a similar shot from Goldeneye also involving the DB5. I'll just chock that up to it being the same director.

Well, "anti-Craig" as in "not enthusiastic about his casting", not necessarily as in "compelled to start a Craig-bashing website".

Isn't five the worst card you can draw in baccarat? Maybe if a five plays a pivotal role in the poker game, it'll be a kind of wink to fans of the book.

Only thing I don't like is those fast Matrix style accelerations that already plagued DAD.

I think someone should mention it. It looks fake, especially on the gunbarrel, and worries me. I hope they aren't in the movie...

Other thing is, the men's room scene is an obvious lift of TRUE LIES... It's good to steal from the best, but I thought this Bond was supposed to be more original than ripping off 12 years old Bond rip-offs
