Bee-yoo-tee-full.
May have already been pointed out in the other thread (sincerest apologies if it was), but I found it ironic that the card torn up at the end of the trailer is a Five of Spades.
...Brosnan was the fifth, wasn't he?
Blimey.
Whilst I suspect that might be reading a little too much into it, it's funny.

Ouch, I can hear the Brosnan devotees raging after that comment. I am sure that isn't why that card is torn.
Amazing teaser, the film looks to be outstanding and Daniel Craig looks fantastic and, as others have already mentioned, his voice is superb, really Fleming esque.
I love that line:
"So, you want me to be half monk, half hitman.."

Eh...it's a good Bond trailer but not above any of the others. Doesn't sell me as CR being a great Bond film for sure or dissuade me from thinking Craig not quite looking like Bond BUT IT IS A FUN TRAILER AND MAYBE CR WILL WORK OUT WELL--lets hope so. It reinforces that Craig's voice is his strongest attribute. IT is exciting to see ANY Bond trailer after such a long time but the movie itself will have to totally sell me on itself and Craig.

you can so tell your trying to be rational about the trailer with out starting an argument. I thought the trailer was great especially as it's the first Bond film trailer in 4 years

Thanks!! Putting the teaser up as my screensaver.

Is it just me or does Judi Dench sound a bit tired? I love her acting and she is great as M, don't get me wrong, but from the voice-over she does sound like she isn't giving the role her full capacity. For lines where she is scowling Bond, Dench doesn't sound convincing. Just a thought.
The trailer looks AWESOME though. Love the new gun barrel.

That weird and self-consciously "this is really cool.... no, really" shot of the Aston Martin, where it looks as though the camera tripod was doing a Leaning Tower of Pisa thing.

What's wrong with that shot? When I first saw the trailer I thought exactly what you're complaining about: "Wow that's really cool." Loomis my dear boy, are you griping just to gripe?

Was she ever anti anti Craig? I just thought she had some reservations.

Is anyone able to tell me what car we can see in the beginning of the trailer ?
Looks like a Mercedes S-Class to me but I'm not sure.
Furthermore - who's going to drive it and what's up with the Ford deal (if it should be a Merc) ?

My gripes:
That, how to put it? Chocolate box (if that's the correct term) style of photography that also marred GOLDENEYE (during the beach scene between Bond and Natalya), particularly evident in the shots of Eva Green getting out of the water. A bit naff.
That weird and self-consciously "this is really cool.... no, really" shot of the Aston Martin, where it looks as though the camera tripod was doing a Leaning Tower of Pisa thing.
Everything moving too fast. If Sebastien Foucan is going to be going at that speed in the final print, he's going to look like Spiderman.
Sorry, I know I'm being a whingeing fanboy of the worst kind.
