Heres the next question though. Would you like to see Casino Royale DVD match this set or be a completely different design since its a reboot and all?

Umm... TOMORROW NEVER DIES and THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH both get Deleted Scenes. Good enough for me. I'm going to be picking up some of these DVDs for that feature alone (depending on what scenes are there... I'm relying on you guys for reports!).The Special Features for TND, TWINE, and DAD suck! No new making of or any real behind the scenes stuff. It looks like the same stuff plus any promo material they have lying around.
Now, why DIE ANOTHER DAY isn't getting that treatment is beyond me. We know the scenes exist - we've seen photos for crying out loud. Give us that hot tub scene!

so, is TND going to be uncut? according to rewind.net, it was cut much more than LTK and GE
Amazon.co.uk and other sites are giving it differing certificates, from '12' to '15'. This will probably become more clear in the future.

Not to mention these features:

James Bond Down River - Original 1999 Featurette
Creating an Icon: Making the Teaser Trailer
Hong Kong Press Conference
DAD:
Shaken and Stirred on Ice
Just Another Day
The British Touch: Bond Arrives in London
On Location With Peter Lamont

I'm proud of EON for finally digging up and releasing to the public their available deleted scenes/alternate angles from FYEO-TWINE. I assume they didn't want to expand on DAD's special features because the disc is so relatively new, but I think that's pretty crappy. Well, whatever. I'm also disappointed by the lack of any current retrospective "making-of" material for TND-TWINE, but hey, we do get a lot of other interesting things.

This hairstyle seemed most unusual due to the fact I had not noticed it before. For curiosity I then lookied at the present dvd covers. On both covers Connery's hair can not been seen due to the lettering of the titles
Is anyone else a tad worried about LTK being the chopped version. If they can release GE uncut, surley they can leave LTK the way it was meant to be!
I would be dissapointed if LTK was the chopped version. After all it is called the Ultimate Editions so surley they must be uncut.
I was surprised to find that Goldeneye is been now given a 15. A good trick question for the pub quiz

Agreed. Hopefully we'll see an update on the amazon site or something along those lines.

No commentary by George Lazenby or Timothy Dalton.
No deleted scenes on Die Another Day
No deleted scenes on The Man with the Golden Gun - even though deleted footage can be seen in the trailer.
No deleted footage on Live and Let Die.
No new making of documentaries, and many archive ones are left out.
No new cuts of the films.
Is this really the best they could do in four years!

The new dvd's look very impressive, compared to the original releases, but they are far from being 'ultimate'.

We'll find out when they re-issue them again in a few years' time. It's only business. Dealers / junkies.

Am I the only one thrilled that we're getting as many rare documentaries on the discs as we are? Honestly, who gives a damn if the covers aren't perfect? Odds are some website will come up with alternate covers anyhow. I'd like to see more stuff too but I'm certainly not unhappy with what we're getting.
Yes, it's certainly a better array of new extras than I expected.

Strange, the dvd trailer is now on Ronin SE dvd (R1) and as far as I know it didn't appear on any R2 new dvds, yet the release date for R2 is announced, not for R1.

Weather or not true, but didn't the U.S version of DAD have a couple of deleted scenes. With what I recall there was an alternative ending and an hot tub scene with Bond and Frost. If this was true then surely we should have these on the Ultimate Editions

I was hoping to get some isolated scores, instead new TND dvd seems to have lost it now. Oookay... Can always keep the old one.
I am guessing all of the original features are still there, but that amazon hasn't listed every one.

Why not show the entire WHICKERS WORLD program about YOLT instead of just a portion of it.
The UK TV had a nice behind-the-scenes making of program which ran about 50 minutes for GOLDENEYE. Another nice 50 minute UK behind-the-scenes of TND was titled "Countdown to Tomorrow".

I'll admit I'm with Chronicliar on this one, not to the point they suck, just rather disappointing.

TND in partiular had a hell of a history in getting it to the screen that would have been nice to put into a feature, although that Highly Classified is not a bad extra that came with the VHS boxed set. The TWINE making of is probably one of the least useful features of all time (example: the hostess, Leanza Cornett, acts amazed to find a whole section devoted to James Bond films at her video store).
It just seems that these films had tons of other things it seems could have gone with them. We don't really know yet whether some of these new features will amount to much more than a few short minutes, as seems to be the trend with most special edition DVDs these days. Not to be a downer, but On Location With Peter Lamont just doesn't sound like it will be all that exciting, nor does the making of the TWINE teaser trailer

One of the most useless film documentaries, not just limited to James Bond, is that one for The World Is Not Enough. Boring, pointless, and quite simply, useless.
A bit like the film then.

No new cuts of the films.
GoldenEye is.
From what I understand, it's only the UK one which was re-edited. The US release will stay the same as its previously released DVDs. Is that right?
I personally don't know. It could go either way as I see it as there is very little out about the US ones. On the whole, it seems like UK viewers have more to gain from these cut changes to GoldenEye than US viewers do.

T'was only a matter of time before someone said that.
