Anyone noticed a still from Licence To Kill is used on the cover of The Living Daylights?
In fact, that still was always a promo photograph from TLD which was wrongly used for the LTK DVD cover. It is no finally in its right place.

Qwerty, It would appear that the region 4 will be exactly the same features wise etc. as the region 2??
Personally, I would think so.

Yes, if you are from the UK, the Pounds to Aussie dollar conversion, is VERY enticing!

I may be incorrect, but wouldn't those DVDs on the ezdvd site be in Region 4, when the UK is Region 2?

anyways, most people now have "multi-region" players too...So, getting DVDs from another country/region, doesn't pose too many problems these days Qwerty..
True, that does make sense. I just wasn't sure how different those two region 2 and 4 DVDs were.

But why would this matter anyway. Region-free players will play DVDs from any country or region.
If the attache case is not offered in the US I certainly plan on getting the Ultimate Edition DVDs from Amazon UK. There are so many of my favorite movies that are only on release in Region 2 or Region 4 that I would hate to have a Region 1-only DVD player.
col_007, I can send the Web site for an Australian DVD store that does ship overseas. I have had great success with them in the past.

Yes, but not everyone owns one.

I am new here and don't want to step on any toes...All I was saying was that if someone wanted to buy the Aussie region 4 release of these, purely for what would appear to be a better price than region 2...Then the region coding shouldn't be an "end of it all" problem...

Obviously most people in England will undoubtedly buy their local release anyway..and, as for the "Yanks", well, I am sure you will no doubt get these titles before the end of the year...

Indeed, I see your point.
I expect, if one didn't have a region-free player, such a problem would arise if it was a case of Region 1 vs. 2 encoding.

I will keep you all aprised of any further developments, but for now, the advice was to buy the Region 2 discs.
