Now... Dark Knight IS finished filming, correct?

Correct, I believe it has entered Post Production :(

It's a real Shame about Ledger's Death, he has...had  an amazing screen presence which is a real shame since he is...was to be a reccuring character. I still can't get my head round the fact that we have lost an amazing young actor.

Yes, the Joker possibly will not be a recurring character now. Who knows what they will do. It's going to make watching the movie a very strange experience.

From what I've seen from clips, HL will be the best Joker ever- he really looks like he 'got it'.

Such a shame we lost him so young- he would have been great in anything!

I finally saw the trailor...looks amazing. Some real money shots of Chicago...and I thought the Bat bike was lame when I first saw it but it looks great in motion.Man, I hope all the major flicks I wanna see are first rate-this could be the best year ever for genre films.

Agreed; great actors plus great storylines equals a great time at the movies.

Supposedly we'll get another trailer (focused on Harvey Dent/Two-Face) with 10,000 B.C. in a few weeks.

Here's some spy shots of the new Two Face action figure. It gives an indication as to how he will look in The Dark Knight. I can't wait to see an actual picture of Aaron Eckhart as Two Face!

I like how Nolan focuses on the characters instead of big name casting like the old series. Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face? Good but I think I'll like Eckhart better. The same goes for the Joker.

Fantastic news! There's no way I'll be going to see that movie, but we'll likely see that trailer on the net at roughly the same time anyways.

I am pleased with the look Two-Face will have. It is realistic, it is not a neat vertical scar appearance like Tommy Lee had. Only part of his face is scarred, realistic as this was thrown on him by someone. Reminds me of the Long Halloween version quite a lot.

How long has it been known that Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow is in The Dark Knight??

Are there any villains besides Two Face and the Joker rumored to be in the next one?

A very long time. Since early Summer 2007, if I remember correctly.

Catwoman,

who is rumored to be the subject of a "Joker card" like wink towards the close of THE DARK KNIGHT when Wayne heads out for a date, dropping the name Selina Kyle.

There were rumblings that while Nolan wants to use her, WB isn't so keen on her reappearing in the Bat franchise after the CATWOMAN fiasco.

Looks very fake to me. The period clothes on the men besides Aaron Eckhart are a real tip-off.

I wouldn't mind seeing Catwoman in the next one.

I would hope that anybody with half a brain would realize the Halle Berry Catwoman garbage had nothing to do with the Batman franchise.

Yeah, that was just a piece of garbage. I'd like to see Catwoman return, but it would be hard to top Phieffer's Catwoman though.

Isn't that what people said about the Joker? Looks like Ledger's Joker is about to beat the ones played by Nicholson and Romero.

Yes, true enough. They'll probably put a different slant on the character like they did with TDK Joker to seperate the two, and for people to debate which version they like better.

Near impossible in my opinion. Probably the best character in all of the first four films of the series.

Yeah. Pfeifer's Catwoman was excellent, practically untouchable, but her characterization was a world removed from the current comic book character. That alone is reason to think about giving her a new cinematic interpretation.
