Star Wars Episode III: This film is called Bernard

Would be as good a title as any.

Well in all reality neither of the titles makes me want to see the movie.

Is anyone planning on picking up the original trilogy on DVD. I have deep misgivings since I will always believe that Han shot first.

I will probably pick it up - even though I do care who shot first since that WAS my favorite moment of the original movie.

No one shot first - I shot first! I was in the background, an observer! I shot, Han fired at the stormtrooper, the stormtrooper fired back.

BUT I FIRED FIRST!

So much for conspiracy theories!

The Creeping Fear? Sounds interesting, unlike Rise of the Empire which is too obvious and boring sounding.

I thought the film was called Star Wars Episode III: A View To A Jedi's Kill.

Nice Johnboy, good find! Not a bad title, I'd say it's better than Episode 2's title.

A lot of fans have already guessed at this one (Tarl I think was the first to mention it in this thread), but George has said for a while that the fans have already guessed what it was, but declined to comment on which one.

I've been following production of this, with the webdocs on SW.com, and I think that this may turn out to be a good one.

Ep III will be the highest grossing movie ever. Even if you didn't like Ep1 or 2, people are just gonna see it anyway too see how it sets everything up. Almost everybody has probably seen Star Wars and I mean this movie will be a larger grosser than Titanic. I also heard the movie is supposed to be much much longer. Over 3 hours or so I heard, I happen to like Rise of the Empire. Each movie has an according title to it and I think this one will fit the movie perfectly.

I strongly disagree. Ep. III will have great box office, but it's not going to take down Titanic. It should have box office about the same as Ep. I, or a little higher.

It's not over 3 hrs. Lucas confirmed a while ago that it was going to be the shortest entry in the entire series - just under 2 hrs.

And I love the title.

Really? I hadn't heard that. Slightly discouraging, since there is still a great deal of things to connect for it to be under 2 hours.

I agree. It does seem to be an extremely short time for all the Ep. III happenings to occur - but from what I know of the story, it does move at an incredible pace. When I think about it, it just might work - a lot of solid stuff and very little dead weight.

Nothing compromising to the film's plot, but to avoid further criticism:

/spoiler.gif
I know it has a very long and intense battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan. But you figure before that, Anakin has to be turned, and that wont exactly be a quick short bit. The twins have to be delivered to Owen and Beru. Dooku will be killed. The Jedi will probably be seen hunted. Yoda has to flee to Dagobah. Padme will probably die. Mace Windu must die (can't be "like a punk though") But I guess with the traditional cut-to's, this can be accomplished.

I'm starting to feel geekish.

Well, in a film where Dooku is vanquished in the first 10 minutes, I think it's going to be done. I think it all really can be done in 2 hrs, well I hope it can, anyway.

To unseat Titanic at the box office, Revenge of the Sith has to become a cultural phenomenon during its run in theaters. It needs to bring people back to the theater for multiple viewings in which they bring their family and friends who haven't seen the film or attract people who have stopped going to the movies. I am skeptical that this film will generate enough public interest to become another cultural phenomenon.

I hope that the finished film exceeds expectations and its successful, but I believe that it's too early to make predictions about its success or failure with audiences.
