After only having my well-read paperback edition for years, I just scored a very nice UK hardback First Edition of John Pearson's James Bond: The Authorised Biography of 007. The book and dustwrapper are in beautiful shape. I'm so pleased.
I recently got that one as well. Took me a while to find one in good condition.
I'm back to working on the Large Print collection. Recently won a Never Send Flowers hardback.

LIVE AND LET DIE, TOO HOT TO HANDLE, and DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.
Check it out. I don't know the seller, but I do have the same set and it is a decent price for all three.

A Tomorrow Never Dies novelization in the first state. Was looking for one of these for a while.
The Hodder hardcover? If so, that is a toughie. And usually quite expensive. Good on ya'.

No, the paperback. There are two versions of the first edition out there. One credits the story to Feirstein solely on the cover page (the second state) while the harder to come by first state lists Feirstein and the three other writers that worked on it.
The only Benson UK hardcover I still need is Tomorrow Never Dies.

Having read about the Warhead script in another thread, I decided it would be cool to buy all the Bond scripts. Just got a copy of the Dr. No script signed by Connery, Ursula Andress, and Jack Lord. I'll be buying the FRWL script in a few months.
Do use a bit of caution when you buy any scripts. There are two types that are out there, and only one is really desirable.
Ask the seller if it is the "Screenplay" (or "Shooting script") or if it is the "Release Script". The latter is simply a listing of all the dialogue and scenes from the final print of the film that was released in the cinema. You really will not find too much of interest in them.
The former is more desirable in that it would contain additional scenes written, but either not necessarily filmed, and/or edited out of the final print (depending on which counrty it is released in).
RUSSIA, GOLDFINGER, TWICE AND OHMSS are the more difficult to find and have not really been offered anywhere. It is best to stay away from these, unless the seller can assure you that it is a legit screenplay (which they usually are not, for those titles). The others are available, in various drafts.
Hope that helps.

I've seen these go for wickedly high prices, but I picked up my copy, which is in rather nice shape for being more than 40 years old, for just $7.

Thanks, FLEMINGFAN. The Dr. No script I bought was described as 5th draft, August 1, 1962. Should I assume that's the "shooting script"?

Yes, that one is legit on one of the only drafts that has been around (The earlier one, with Doctor No as a monkey on the main villain's shoulder, has yet to surface).
(NOTE: The autographs that are on the covers are pretty useless, as they are just copies. If the seller would cut the price to drop that page, you would make out better.)
