Wow! Quite a bargain, I'd say. Especially with Too Hot To Handle being included in there.

Just got the books in the mail last night. All three covers are in excellent condition. Except for the minor tear off the bottom part of the Too Hot To Handle spine, the books are pristine for their age. LALD and DAF look like they have never been read. The pages have yellowed but that is expected from PermaBooks. They were not supposed to last forever. The paper is similar to comic book paper from that era so I guess that's par for the course.

Excellent buy there Doc. :D

Thanks. It's been a good week and now I'm waiting on a CR 45 record that played an advertisment when you entered the theater lobby back in 1967.

Probably over 100 items to this day I own thanks to ebay, most recently The Authorized James Bond biography by John Pearson, quite rare and in flawless condition for 9 bucks, and also a copy of Too Hot To Handle for 10 U$S, I saw it on another auction priced at 175 dollars! But my pride and joy is still the beautiful DB5 model from Danbury Mint, every serious Bond fan should get one, costly yes, but a must have.

Actually that is signed on the endpapers. The seller has either folded the dj over onto the inner board, or he/she has edited two photo images together to show the cover and the signature together.

The signature looks cool on the artistic YOLT endpapers though.

Nice job with the TWINE UK hardcover. I love that one.

I got the TND in a lot purchase of Hodder hardcovers, and after I sell off the others for even bargain basement prices, the TND will have cost me no more than $30.00. Yay for me.

Yeah, I couldn't believe my good fortune.

Conversely, I have been burned on a couple of Benson book purchases on eBay recently, when the sellers didn't mention major issues with the books. But I live to try another day. :D

Lobby cards are a current purchase - trying to polish off a set of all the UK and US Bond lobby cards. They number 407 in total with all their variations.

Also bought a linen backed Thunderball US 1 sheet. Superb.

Recently bought the UK premiere brochure for Golden Gun.

.....and I am missing eight.

I'll be 145 by the time I find these last few.

Wow. I remember calling Lotus for one of those. They had all gone so hung up disappointed.

Well done.

I've been after one ever since 1984/85 or so when I saw that famous publicity photo of Roger Moore standing next to his red Lotus, wearing that jacket. In the Starlog Octopussy brochure Michael Wilson is seen wearing one and I have also stills of John Glen and his cameraman on AVTAK both in one. I tried with the Lotus marketing dept. too and wrote letters to any cast or crew member I could think of... unsuccessfully of course. Until two weeks ago when I came across this gentleman of a seller who had one of my personal 007 holy grales for sale... The story goes, it belonged to a girl who was a producion runner on the set. Well, at least one of my childhood wishes came true after all those years  It's incredible in what absolute mint condition this jacket is after 25 years!

I can only wear it with the zipper open, but it's still a blast to finally have this one! I have crew jackets from GE, TND and TWINE but the FYEO is my new favourite :D My other cast & crew favourite I have is the 'Thunderbal Crew' badge (an old fashioned, large metal 'button') that Desmond Llewellyn gave me many years ago...

Probably not, though the forgeries always seem to get bid on (There's a 1966 signed Book Club edition of MOONRAKER that now has about 7 bids on it. Those 'after death' signatures from Ian Fleming are very 'rare'.)

Enough in the past month that my wife is giving me strange looks and hinting about we need a bigger house. Don't want to bore everyone with long lists, but, :D a couple of short ones can't hurt between fellow Bond fans. My friends and family just sort of roll their eyes with that "BFD" look.

About 56 books, hard covers, a few signed, paperback complete Coronet edition set. a beautiful copy of hc Cold, an mint Sideshow Goldfinger Connery and a few others, 1st. ed. of MWTGG (us) and a very nice British 1st. ed. OHMSS. (the Cape books seem smaller than the US copies?!?)and gobs more stuff!

Well that only some of the stuff that has arrived. Maybe I should just call this "Diary of an Ebay Junkie!"
