Oh, don't remind me! Made no sense at all. Could have been nice if the DB5 was the same from CR but modified, and without the ejector seat line.
Who says it wasn't Q branch could have just added "optional extras" and swapped the steering for British roads - nothing in the film says it's explicitly from GF

Yeah the behind the scenes stuff is great, the quality of the end product is obviously more important than what you would prefer to see.

I didn't have a problem with the DB5 then and I don't now. It was the celebration of the 50th Anniversary, and that's that.

Also, in 4 years Bond goes from a 'rookie' 007 to a Dinosaur.
A lot can happen in 4 years, especially for a 00 - remember, "00s have a very short life expectancy"

Riiiiight!
Thing is, there is nothing in the films to explicitly state that Craig Bond wasn't a newly woken thing from a cryogenically frozen state from the 60's either....

Exactly! You're starting to understand

Roger Moore may have been the last one to have played Bond in a movie in which it wasn't personal...
Skyfall wasn't personal, wasn't it? He got emotionally involved (it is a movie after all) but it started out as a standard mission.
Great video, though. Makes me excited to see the movie.

Great video. I like how Mendes says Craig's Bond has more experience than the newcomers. We're going to see Bond at the top of his game here.

I think abig part of the reason he was shown as being 'over the hill' in Skyfall was the 3 months he spents drinking and sleeping around in the tropical islands (with a bullet still inside him) rather than him just simply being too old for the game...ad to that 5 years of him being a 00 (and how ever many years he spent as a regular operative) and he would certainly be seen as an older verteran of the service.

Is it just me, or is this a prime time for a new video-blog from the movie? Seems with the down time they had that a new video blog or even the first full length trailer could have been assembled.

Maybe they know it's futile for the time being, since last week was a pretty huge week for announcements/trailers.Is it just me, or is this a prime time for a new video-blog from the movie? They also just released a teaser trailer, so there's no need for another trailer at this point. We'll probably see a full-length trailer sometime towards the end of summer or the very early days of fall.

I wouldn't expect another video blog for some time. Possibly early to mid summer.

There have only been two video blogs to date, both with footage from the first month of filming. With both Rome and Mexico under their belts, it would seem an odd move to delay the next blog until mid summer. They have done an excellent job of teasing us with tidbits to this point, why stop?

In this week of no news the announcement of a new vlog is a tremendous highlight.
