Blofeld with a lair in a Moroccan crater? Sounds about right. That computer-filled command center has to be somewhere.

It's just depressing how colorful and sharp everything looks like before the color grading.

It's just that some of the colour is different, not that they're gone.

I wish them luck in the editing suite for the desired 'visceral excitement' of the action, as the action in Skyfall was, for the most part, a bit of a damp squib compared to QoS and the Bournes of today.

In the days of (comparative) old, the Bonds had Remy directing the car chases, and Willy doing all the skiing action, and these guys knocked the spotted socks off all the competition of their day.  I do think for future car chases, they should get the Top Gear (UK TV series) guys to direct the car sequences as they could make a chase between milk floats exciting.

Everything so far looks lovely for SPECTRE, but I do remember looking at the filming footage of the bikes chasing across the roof tops for Skyfall in amazement, and then sitting in the cinema and thinking, they have managed to make the exciting look completely flat.

Struck by how clear the juxtaposition is between the before/after visual treatment. Hope the colours do work out on screen.

On a more positive note... Morocco :)

Hopefully it does work out, but regardless it's a shame that they're going so far with the look of the film.

Love the look of that desert explosion. I recall a comment saying it was the 'biggest explosion' they've done. So naturally what we see blowing up isn't even the half of it.

Which is fairly incredible given what they did to Skyfall.

There is talk that the explosion in Spectre will be a world record for an explosion in a film.

Fingers crossed. I like it when Bond pushes the boundaries and breaks records, ala the old days. Or more recently the record for the most cannon rolls in a car for CR.

As long as they have a better reason for a building blowing up than what was served up as the finale to QoS...

Heh, yes. When the bad guys say the fuel cells sound highly unstable, you know what's coming soon. A big explosion.

Thanks :) The access they have is really incredible, to be able to shut down Whitehall and have sweeping shots from the rooftops of government buildings. Can't wait to see how they show off London once again.

It's like in 1999 with 'TWINE' and the shooting on the Thames that was permitted and across London; still going stronger than ever now to prove that London and James Bond co-exist and both benefit each other and are mutually recognisable and important.
