Does anyone know if the clips shown on Good Morning Britain on ITV had anything different? I overslept and forgot to set the thing to record.

Edit: Nice to see Gregg Wilson stepping forward, do we think that he may take over from Michael G. Wilson when the time eventually comes or would that role go to David Wilson?

As far as I know, Good Morning Britain just played the same videoblog before its official release. That's how it looks on their website.

I was wondering the same about Gregg Wilson - it certainly appears that they're pushing him forward.

I don't know how he does it, but Craig looks younger than he did in SF...

I know how.

It's just the hair.

In SPECTRE he has the Casino Royale-haircut. And that makes him look younger.

In SKYFALL he had very short military style hair.

As long as he doesn't have the greasy hairstyle like on the Skyfall premiere...

(Oh dear, I don't believe it - I'm actually joining a "Craig's hairstyle" discussion...  :D  )

- Q on a cable car

Not sure I'd have noticed that, but it appears to be the same outfit he's wearing in this interview: http://www.kleinezei...on-Obertilliach

Also note that the only person in the cable car at that point appears to be Detlef Bothe, who posted some photos of himself in character.

Official press release to accompany the photo and footage:

http://www.007.com/s...e-announcement/

The first footage from the set of SPECTRE has been released, alongside an exclusive image of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in action in the Austrian mountains.

“We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie,” explains Associate Producer Gregg Wilson. “It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off.”

The behind the scenes footage includes Daniel Craig as James Bond 007, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista and director Sam Mendes. “The thing Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top SKYFALL”, says Production Designer Dennis Gassner. “We are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world.”

As I mentioned in the other thread, it's interesting to see Gregg Wilson. It looks like Michael Wilson is very hands off this time. Lovely to hear Bautista talk. I'm so happy for him, he seems really nice. Great move by Bond at the end too.

Noticed at around 40 seconds in, you can see Lea Seydoux in the back seat of the Range Rover, with Dave Bautista in the front holding a gun.

So will we get behind the scenes footage like we did for Skyfall? A number of short videos for a number of different aspects of production.

I would say so. I'd say the next one we get might be for when the production heads to Mexico.

As am I. It's kind of surreal how my love of wrestling and love of Bond are coming together for SPECTRE... I'm enjoying everything!

Now that we've actually got video, the locale and how it appears to be lensed just looks epic and is going to be fantastic in panavision on the big screen.

The contrast of everything and everyone in black against the snow just pops out at you. Set against the peaks and crystal clear blue sky, these scenes alone make me think were looking at a nomination for cinematography already.

Craig looks great and certainly in finer form compared to SF, but part of his look then was to look a bit less fit given his hiatus from service and living on a diet of meds and scotch.

Can't wait for more. I'm guessing we'll get some of the bits filming in the UK doubling Rome as well as Rome itself.

Bring it on!

I wouldn't necessarily say that Michael is totally hands off on this film..My best guess is that he and Barbara were busy trying to sort out the difficulties with filming permissions in Rome and possibly couldn't be at the Solden location. Certainly Gregg has worked himself up from TWINE (think he was an assistant, but need to check), to script supervisor on DAD (I gave him hell for that last time I saw him. :D ), assistant editor on CR, and then since QoS he's been Assistant/ Associate Producer..

Absolutely it's great to hear Mr. Bautista..love his deep voice! Just the sort for a Bond baddie!

MGW's sons, Gregg and David G. Wilson have both worked behind the scenes for Eon, on both the films and the video games. Similar to how MGW worked on the early Bond films and worked his way up, both his sons seem to be doing more on each production they work on. David is the elder and Gregg the younger.

Oh, and both Michael G. Wilson's and David G. Wilson's middle names are both Gregg too. Michael's dad, Lewis G. Wilson was the first on-screen Batman - I'm guessing the G stood for Gregg too...

Love the sunglasses. Yes!, no Tintin hair (What?!). Awesome scenery. Does anyone know if Michael is ok? It´s good to see the next gen working already, but it did get me worried.

Well it looks like I was way of. That isn't a Steyr M9-A1. That's actually an HK VP9, the latest handgun from Heckler & Koch.

It's very similar to Styer. Based on the footage, it's clear Bond takes it off the chap he punches out. Read a bit on it back in December. It's supposed to be the new military issue for German forces. Good looking and, IIRC, pretty damn reliable in any weather. The old "3S" firearm rating - Sand, Sea, Snow.

Well it is natural that he'd look alittle older 3 years on (although personally I feel his SPECTRE hair-cut makes him look alittle younger than he did in Skyfall), and I don't think this picture, or the video, is a good judge for him looking 'fatter.'

He is wearing winter gear, which is bound to make him look alittle heavier than he actually is (and he certainly looked to be in good shape at the press conference for the film last year.)

I noticed that too being similar to the Steyr, very nice looking gun.

A lot of German made weapons, especially H&K are beyond reliable and well built. I was initially looking at the USP to purchase, but I've since redirected my attention to the Sig P226.

Last sunday some people from the German Bond Fan Club met with Ken Adam in Berlin during the Berlin Film Festival.

And Adam told them, that Michael is recovering from a bypass-operation. That's why he doesn't do any promo for SPECTRE.
