Nice stuff here - seems the MI6 gang are really getting stuck into work outside of the office.

Understandable that filming may cause some irritations with disrupting some folks' sleep, but I'd personally be thrilled to give up some shut eye if I knew that Mr. Bond and baddies were filming a chase sequence right in my neighborhood.. Sleep be dammed!

There is also the general idea that if one chooses to live in a city, it is generally understood that cities create noise because stuff goes on.
If people don't like noise, then they have the choice and right to clear off and live in a remote field.
I do not understand people that choose to move into a city centre flat, and then when the nightclub across the way keeps them awake, they have the temerity to complain. The club, and the city, was there before they moved in with their brats and nonsense - so make better informed decisions - I say.

There's noise and then there's the stop/start of film production on location. Here in NYC it's constant. Somewhere, right now, someone is shooting a series or film on location in the city.
Even with the usual din of the nightlife and evening activities, a film shoot can be disruptive. I've had co-workers (I've worked in the film/television industry for over nearly 20 years) call production companies because their production assistants and on-set workers were making too much noise (4am with a 6am start time) along the particular street where they lived. You can be used to it and still not be "used to it."
Beyond the noise, you have street closures, the traffic being diverted, being told you have to wait to go down your street, to get to your home, because a they haven't finished a take. To your last comment, given the price of property, folk feel the home they've purchased is indeed their castle.
Whatever, I can't wait to see any on-site footage from tonight's (last night's shoot).

Oh, I completely agree that it will be disruptive. And you provide a good account of all that.
I just feel that this will be a part of the appeal, or the downside to living in a city of that ilk and size. And people should go in with their eyes wide open in my opinion.
I live near Heathrow (Windsor). I will Never vote no for expansion or request reduction of noise levels because I chose to live there. And Heathrow was there before I was. (And of course, if the Queen can put up with it...)

Looks like MP to me. Maybe.
I´ve been away for awhile. So, nothing really new then, no official pics, no action trailer, not even a new vlog. Well, apart from a very comprehensive coverage from our people in London. Good show old sports, if it weren´t for you guys, I suppose there would be a huge news void. Thank you.
This really seems to be a very confident production. Let´s hope the final product is, well, a product of that.

Had to finish a novel. Deadline coming up. Done
So far, SP seems like a winner. Can´t wait for the next trailer. And it´s really wonderful to see the confidence in the faces of everyone. Craig seems to be enjoying himself. And so does Mendes. I suppose he knows he´s got something good to show come November.
Good to be on board again

Do people think it's worth heading to the Westminster Bridge/Millbank/Riverside gardens area tonight? I'm tempted. But I also heard they don't let people get anywhere near. Then again if there's helicopters, might be cool. Decisions, decisions...
