Excellent! My parents have been to Rules several times when they visit London... I'll be sure to mention to them that 007 is following in their footsteps..

I am supposing that bloody great big crane was for some further lighting....? I doubt I will ever stop being amazed at the amount of set up required for what looks like it will be the smallest of shots.
By the way, anyone going down for a post-shooting look... I can recommend a wonderful authentic tapas bar on Maiden Lane called Condesa. Wonderful freshly made food, Spanish sherries, tortilla, tiled walls behind the bar, high table stool type seating. Perfect.

Has a real Road to Perdition vibe.

...and wonderful to see 'rain' in Craig's fourth and consecutive Bond film.
I mentioned in the MI-5 thread that I thought in no other Bond films it rained. I was fairly sure, but Marky Murph reminds me that it did rain briefly in OHMSS.

Very interesting that Ralph Fiennes as M has a gash on his head.

I wonder what has happened to M's head!
Looking very exciting! Nice to see Fiennes.

As a project manager, I would love to see my programme manager boss getting as involved and as 'hands on' as M.

From Bond Lifestyle: photos of Fiennes, Harris and Ben Whishaw arriving for filming at Rules on Friday - http://www.jamesbond...staurant-londonRalph Fiennes and Naomie Harris were reportedly both involved in the filming. No Craig.
There was more filming in Westminster Bridge last night, but yet to see any photos.

I wonder what has happened to M's head!
I'm not sure, maybe some debris from the events of the finale?

"M" in the field is a topic I know, from reading previous posts on Cbn, divides members. Should "M" be behind the desk handing out the assignment - "go forth and do battle, 007" and so on - or should "M" be in the thick of it?
Well, I'd guess that, once again, "M" is out in the field, and in the thick of it - even though this time "the field" is not very far from that desk he's usually behind!

So far, it seems that people were kept way back last night, not many interesting photos yet.

Bond certainly is getting the most out of his black turtleneck wardrobe...

A location of true Bond heritage. That's the place where these were taken:
I wonder if we'll get a cameo by that lamppost

Craig's looking great in the new set photos. I do like the all black clothing. I take it Bond has just taken the boat ride up the Thames, and here he's continuing to give chase.

More shocking is that M is wearing jeans!

Clearly his knee surgery has cleared up if he is running up steps.
Well done Dan.

Truly one of the most famous London Bond locations next to the MI6 HQ. Visited by many a fan. That post should be registered as an "Official Bond Landmark". Heiko - 2004 - The CBn London 7 Damn good day that.
