Yes, Craig was there all night filming, he left the location at about 5am.
There was also shots taken of a number of extras reacting to an explosion in the direction of MI6, then running to look.

I'm not sure about the girl, but the stunt double with the mask is Gordon Alexander.

I notice that all the shots with the double are in daylight. I think the double is being used mainly for camera and set-up practice, this is a nighttime sequence.

Thanks, folks! Years ago, I always used to think of JB films as having nighttime climaxes, but once I started seeing them, found that few of them do. I rather like those endings, such as MR (technically space rather than night, but it's under cover of darkness nonetheless) and TND.

I'm guessing the clapper board was from a separate scene they shot on the same day.
Posted 18 May 2015 - 08:27 PM
Either that or the boats appear in an earlier scene with other MI6 characters, foreshadowing their use by Bond later in the film when he returns to London.
Were there any clapperboards in any of the many pictures from the shoot?

The girl might be Gemita Samarra.

I agree. Perhaps they realised they hadn't established the dock where Bond conveniently finds the boat, so added an earlier scene to do so.Either that or the boats appear in an earlier scene with other MI6 characters, foreshadowing their use by Bond later in the film when he returns to London.

I'd say so, yes. That makes sense. So, can we assume that London scene will be the final act of the movie?

HERE is my report on the filming of SPECTRE in London over the weekend - including my own chance meeting with Mr Mendes:
And HERE is my look at London City Hall - a location that was used for the filming of SPECTRE earlier in the year.

Amazing! And it´s astonishingly nice of Mendes to take his time to talk to you while preparing to shoot this sequence. Would have thought he would call his PR people to keep everybody at a distance.

Couldn't agree more - especially when you consider what was riding on his shoulders that day! A thoroughly humble and gracious chap!

Excellent report, Mr Slate. Very thorough. Mendes and the Bond team are great towards the fans, and this proves it once again. Well done.

This weekend is really going to be worth a look, I've got reason to believe that Christoph Waltz will be involved in the filming on Westminster Bridge.

That's what I was thinking...seems we'll have a good look at Waltz, but could be risky as regards to what point in the film this will be featured.
As in, if we all want to believe he is Blofeld / becomes Blofeld, will he have visible scars, deformation etc to "become" him...? No idea at all, but it's a big gamble BUT if you want to film outside in the public eye, it's an unfortunate risk they'll have to take.

I'm surprised they're allowing the villain's appearance to become public once again via paparazzi rather than an official image. The teaser trailer silhouette is still all we have to go on so far.
Yes, it may turn out to be remarkably similar. First a silhouette in the teaser trailer, then a few paparazzi shots taken on the streets of London. Soon after that, an official still.

Depends on whether or not the chase takes them to another (interior) location.
I'm inclined to think the same thing, that if they're going the scars route with Blofeld, it will be Bond who gives them to him, "creating" Blofeld as we know him.
