I have a bit of a girl crush on Monica Bellucci ..... extremely happy she's been cast..... and didn't Scarlett Papava in Devil May Care use the fake name Lucia Rossi??

 

As for the title, doesn't leave much to the imagination does it? Was hoping for Risico. BUT it would be amazing if Bellucci's character was Blofeld and Bond 25 focuses on her, with the title 'The Property of A Lady'

That would work, no?

 

Happy about them casting an openly gay actor as one of the leads. Hope it's going to break stereotypes about what roles GLBT actors should play in action films.

If the rumour is true, I'd bet that SPECTRE is Quantum's successor organization.After QoS Quantum was compromised. And I don't think Mr. White is Blofeld.

What I'd really like is if SPECTRE was behind Quantum all along - a division specifically charged with more covert financial & political operations. I'd prefer SPECTRE not be Quantum re-branded, but rather the real organization putting together and controlling Quantum in the first place.

I could get behind that, provided it was a fairly faithful adaptation (cf. CR) and not another 'Nolan brothers braintease'.

 

I love Christopher Nolan, but his recent films have been going off into self-satisfaction territory. Still, him and Craig doing an OHMSS Bond film would be fantastic.

Would love for that rumor about Jesper Christiansen to be true.  Tying up loose ends.  It would almost justify Quantum of Solace a bit more in my eyes, as I didn't think that much of it.  Seeing it pan out more could help.

Having White return would absolutely help lift Quantum. It honestly looks like we're gearing up for the Daniel Craig films to be one coherent story.

Perhaps they plan to bring to life the original plot from TSWLM, where a new baddie stepped in to take over SPECTRE, only this time it will be Blofeld (a Quantum operative) stepping up to take control and rebrand Quantum his way. Given that Quantum was badly exposed by Bond through Mr, White, and likely fell somewhat into disrepair, it might make sense for Blofeld (if there is a Blofeld) to decide to do away with the old guard and take the reigns. I also would not be surprised if Blofeld wasn't Waltz, but instead Belucci.

I'd be behind that idea for Bond 25. The Property of a Lady could act as the OHMSS of this particular story arc. Then Bond 26 finishes it with Shatterhand as a more accurate adaptation of You Only Live Twice.

 

Andrew Scott is actually one 2 in the cast as Ben Whishaw is also gay.

This being true, I don't think that it'd help QoS much....The thing with the film was that it was badly made. The story was decent and had lots of potential, but execution was terrible. 

 

As for today's news, the title gives too much away. They could have used a more poetic title.
