Glad you're enjoying Tomb Raider. I had a blast when I went through it. I like that they really put a lot of effort into the exploration, which I feel was neglected in some recent entries. One downside is that the multiplayer isn't very good, but TR isn't a multiplayer game anyway.

As for CoD: Ghosts, I'm going to reserve judgement until I see some footage. Perhaps the PS4/X720 will be able to give the series the facelift it desperately needs. I would also like to see the gameplay overhauled. Using the same control scheme and gameplay from 2005, just doesn't cut it in 2013. Also, for the love of god, they need to implement a goddamn cover system!!!!!

The Controller scheme is fine, its basic and not overly complicated. As for a cover system? No, it just won't work.

First piece of good news I've heard about the new Xbox. Maybe the always-online requirement isn't true. Although, it does appear that the always-online component was at point at least considered.

? You didn't really answer my question I was just curious if you had played the game or not.. if you haven't I suggest checking out because I have heard really good things about it, I will definitely get around to playing through it soon.

Technically I did, just in a much different way. I didn't care for, just like I don't really care for the Star Wars games and the film series as a whole

KOTOR and KOTOR II are very good. It's a damn shame that part 3 was cancelled. The Jedi Knight games are good too as is the first Rogue Squadron, but that's about where it ends. The Force Unleashed had a great story, but very generic and boring gameplay and level design. TFU2 is an absolute insult to everything Star Wars. For the most part, the heyday of Star Wars  games was in the 90s.

I bloody loved KOTOR - One of the first 'Star Wars' games I really go into and I loved that personal touches to your adventure. Sort of like the older 'Jedi Knight' games.

 

'The Force Unleashed' was brilliant and a agreat, refreshing SW action game BUT the sequel did feel rushed and un-eventful, as you say seawolf, a big let down.

 

One of the best SW games I've played is 'Battlefront' - that was just brilliant fun!

 

I hope we get something on the lines of 'KOTOR' and 'Battlefront' - great detail, attention to the story and the ability to personalise the character.

It was amazing, great fun in the multiplayer sections. And the space battles were one of the best I've seen in a SW game. The rumoured 'Battlefront 3' I hope comes from this anouncement. That will be a saviour for the games, as I don't want them to suffer the same fate as '007 Legends' and have critics and fans turn on them for a shoddy, cash-in game, as there is so much potential for great games, even now with 'Episode VII' on the way.

I vote 'Red Dead Redemption' - a brilliant Western shooter, and nothing beats wearing the bandana over your face as you attack a hideout full of hombres and rebels!

I also vote for RDR, but mostly because I've never played Skyrim (and never will) or Mass Effect.

Thanks for helping me decide! I did go with Red Dead Redemption and I am loving it so far. I think I didn't like it the first time I played through it because I was playing other games at the same time and I wasn't able to put focus into RDR. Now that I have put my undivided attention to the game, I love it. I am just going around completing side quests, doing night jobs, breaking horses, capturing bounties and such. Also if anyone else has RDR on this forum they should play the multiplayer with me!

This article says Roger Craig Smith will voice Batman.

Stupid 'Arkham Origins' misleading me! Updated with the confirmation Conroy will NOT return...!

 

Very excited about the new X-Box reveal - I really hope this does the job for them. One of the biggest flaws currently? Paying for online multiplayer access.

The Xbox One, probably not going to get this one, unless the games impress me enough, and that's saying much. The new console is basically a TiVo in a nutshell. Wasn't too impressed. The Call Of Duty: Ghosts trailer was nice though. Will probably get the PS4 instead. PlayStation will win this time.
