It is pointless if it has no relation to Infinite lol

While I'm waiting for Infinite, I'm going to replay RE6. Maybe I'll like it more, maybe not. My original review score for it was a 6/10. I'll re-evaluate it, when I'm done. I really don't want to hate this game, I just couldn't really help it during my first play through.

It's not that bad, it's easily enjoyable. My only complaint is the Chris Campaign, its the worst, but the other three are fantastic.

Chris' campaign is just plain awful. Jake's isn't great either. Ada's is fine and they clearly put the most effort into Leon's.

Leon's campaign is easily a 5/5, it's the best and most like the first two games. Chris' is a 0/5. It's nothing but Michael Bay action game, with scarce ammo. Jake's is 7/10. It reminds me of RE3 Nemesis and is a ton of fun, but can be a bit tiring. Ada's is a 9/10, point deduction for no AI partner.

I don't mind the solo Ada campaign. It makes her's slightly more like the old adventures too. I agree that Chris' is nothing, but a mindless, action filled piece of garbage designed to cater to the Call of Duty/Gears of War fanatics. Jake's campaign, in my opinion, is just kind of meh. It's not bad, but not great either.

I recently acquired Garry's Mod, the sandbox game where you can pretty do much anything from Valve. (Well, it's not technically BY them, but it does use its Source engine and you can use items from several of its games.)
It's incredibly fun, with truly limitless customization.

Lucasarts has been officially closed. Star Wars 1313 has been cancelled. Thoughts?

Serious?!! Jeez.... that's the end of an era. I was really ready for a new SW vision with 1313.
At least they gave us 'Battlefront' and 'Jedi Knight 2' but before that thank GOD they gave us games like 'The Secret Of Monkey Island' and the point and click adventures.
Sad news IMO. I hope Disney licence out the games like they did for 'KOTOR' to BioWare.

Finally finished Bioshock Infinite yesterday. What a game. What an ending.
Here's my review, it's on my blog: http://www.thewiresa...blogspot.co.uk/
The only decent Star Wars game was on the N64. Star Wars Episode 1: Racer!

Is that all your blog PPK? Just had a read through and thought it's great - a real Media hub of entertainment reviews and features. Keep it up!
I'd always thought about these "blogs" but wouldn't know where to start!

Great review PPK. I'm even more excited for this game now and no Iceskater, there are no spoilers.

Thanks for the praise guys!
Spoiler-free review, Iceskater. I really had fun with the game! Can;t wait to go back to it on the '1999' mode, which is meant to be ridiculously difficult!

Yes! This 'always online' horseshit, where if you're not connected to the internet you can't play games is ridiculous. Just rumours so far though. I hope it isn't true! If it is i'm switching to Sony for the first time in my life!

Just curious, but why? I haven't been following it all that much.

First I've heard of it - but that sounds a little odd? Hope it's not true.
Guess we need some official releases soon about the specs. XBox haven't let me down yet and hope they don't in the future...

If that's true, I can easily tell that it will slowly become an irritation and a pain in the ass.

My belief is that if the always online thing is true, it won't last very long after the console's launch.

It appears that the 'always online' requirement for the Nextbox, is all but confirmed.

I present to you the first synopsis and screenshots for the upcoming title: 'BatMan: Arkham Origins' via comingsoon.net
(Yes, it's a prequel!)
Previously all that was said about the game's plot was this - "Eight of the best assassins in the world have come to Gotham City for one night, Christmas Eve of all nights, to kill the Bat." We now know that these eight assassins are lured to Gotham by the villain Black Mask (who briefly appeared in the Robin DLC for "Arkham City"), who is offering a substantial reward for Batman's head. The assassins will also be joined by crooked cops in the GCPD looking to cash in on the reward.
The game will take place in an open world environment like "Arkham City" that spans into two areas, "Old Gotham" and "New Gotham." New Gotham will feature classier areas with tall skyscrapers while Old Gotham will be the map from "Arkham City" prior to becoming an open prison. With the addition of "New Gotham," the game's map size has been doubled. There will also be 'Crimes in progress' side missions that players can choose to stop or ignore (as seen in previous superhero games). In addition, there is a 'Most Wanted' setting that will allow players to go after DC villains that aren't integral to the main storyline.
