Thanks Matt! Well done. Brings back very good memories of rushing to see the bloody thing 4 times at the cinema. And reading the script and then, after months of imagining it, seeing the first clips. I remember being very worried about those bullet time over-their-heads shots. We were in the aftermath of DUD afterall.

It still maintains its coolness, even after 6 years.

Cheers

Watching the TV spot, the film looks as though it could have been made this year. Timeless. I still have my copy of the second draft screenplay printed out in a folder. Still glance over it from time to time, when I'm feeling nostalgic. Won't be doing that ever again, though. Ruined my first viewing beyond words. I don't need to know all of the dialogue. That said, everything else is fair game, and this has been another genuinely fun ride. Shooting at Smithfield market took place 11 months ago!

Wow, almost a year ago. And yeah, I have the second draft in a folder as well, with a big teaser poster print on top. Still the best teaser poster ever. I agree Matt, in years to come I´ll sure look back and think the SF ride was fun as hell.

Can anyone make out what she's saying in the 3rd line of the new clip?

today I saw the famous imax trailer, as a trailer for a non-imax Taken projection

And the verdict?

Great. There's a scene I think I never saw before with Bond walking between buildings in the island escorted by not-so-beautiful Silva's guy. The rest of the scenes are substantially the same we saw in the other trailers, differently assembled.
(sorry for the english, i just woke up)

Have to say the mood, atmosphere and general colour of the casino they are in looks wonderful - you can almost smell and feel the mood in the room.

Ha what a great little clip. He said 'Bond, James Bond' as if he was thinking 'At last, she asked me my name! I've been wanting to say it since 2006! Must hurry and spit it out" I loved the delivery though!

And i must say, despite my assumption that Marlohe was going to be Caterina Murino mark II in terms of acting, Berenice seems pretty good. And looks good too...oh yes, delicious...

That scene with Caterina Murino and Bond from Casino Royale was the best... ahem* love* scene in a Bond movie

Wait, I was wrong. I resee the imax trailer on the tube, and the one attached to Taken was not that. It was only the international one.
The thing that make me wrong was the fact that the second Italian trailer was the us trailer, and not the international one.

I think it's "He doesn't appreciate the occasional twist, Mr...?" referring to Silva.

'Who doesn't appreciate the occasional twist." it's a response to Bond's talk about him complicating the plot - as in plot twist.

Yes yes yes great stuff. Newman score sounds terrific here building up tension, love the ferocity of bonds fight carrying on is secondary to the real drama in the decision M is making.

Any doubts I had about the effectiveness of Newman's score was wiped out with that clip alone. Knew how it would end and still got chills. Excellent stuff.

The suspense in that short clip is outstanding! That will play out so well on screen and will be brilliant...!

Yes. Even in isolation, "Take the bloody shot!" looked like one of the film's most memorable lines. In the context of the action, with Eve's uncertainty, the time for decision running out, and all the headquarters staff gathered around the developing drama, it's a real standout.

From the trailers it looked like Eve had a lot of the blame for shooting Bond, and not being a good markswoman, but this clip shows that she is actually quite apt but was just following orders.

God, I can't stop watching that....when M tells Eve to take the shot the first time, her slight jump into position, she WANTS to do her duty but know she can't without risking Bond. I think Naomi Harris is going to be superb...saying that, from that clip, Judi Dench looks to be on fire as M, and I still can't get over Daniel Craig putting so much into the opening stunt.

I absoloutely adore this clip. It just oozes class. Judi's face as well. The very first shot of her, looking as cold as steel. It's really startling to think that this is the same person from later on in the movie. "Where are we going?" in the TV Spot. Loveable old lady, then this. I honestly wouldn't like to cross her.

Dench's performances have always been great, but she does seem to have stepped it up for this one.

Great clip. Can't wait to find out how they did that drop: it really looks like Craig himself is plummeting off.
And it also looks like they're really inside MI6 HQ too.
