It's Bond replying to Q's line about sometimes a trigger needs to be pulled and how he can do more on his laptop in his pajamas than Bond can do in the field. So Bond is just saying sometimes you don't need to pull the trigger and you wouldn't know that sitting at home in your pajamas. Hope that helps clear it up for you.

The sentence from Bond to Q is actually a very clever hint towards the PTS, in which M - sitting in here office - forces Eve to pull the trigger, whereas Bond himself with his experience, would have know not to do it and instead trust on him fighting Patrice.
