Bond knows the rules of the game. The mission comes first and if he's caught in the line of fire, so be it.

I've read someone mention people in Severine's room as she is fired at but never noticed it til now. Doesn't seem like they wasted a second of film in this movie.

I wonder if Ralph Fiennes did any gun training for this...

Mr. Fiennes handled guns in In Bruges and Hurt Locker, for the record. (those are the ones I've seen)

Here are some new clips from the B-Roll. Enjoy my fellow bond fans :D.

I was about to post this, since I've just finished the upload. :)

Thanks General.

I look forward to watching the fight on top of the train, but I cant help but think how much more exciting it would have been if they had been allowed to film in India, with all the Indians sitting atop the train - Eve aiming at at the fighting pair, whilst making sure that none of the Indians get in the way of the shot, would have added that extra suspense...

Just a nagging though about these B-roll clips..(they are great btw)...is it really a good idea to be posting them here? It seems like these are unofficially released, unlike the videoblogs and movie clips, which were officially released on Yahoo! Movies and Apple.. It seems to me that EON may not take kindly to CBn in this instance and whoever leaked the B-roll footage could be in even more trouble.. Just a though..

If that was true, I don't think they would have lasted this long. In my experience with being on fan forums for other big films right before release, the studios keep a very close idea on the internet for leaks. They probably check CBn's mainpage very often. I'm sure we would have heard something by now if they were upset by the leak of the B rolls. The B rolls seem to lack any real spoilers. The scenes featured ones that have been featured all along in the video blogs and trailers. There is a very noticeable lack of anything truly new. I wonder if they are maybe a bit of viral marketing for the hardcore fans.

I think they are from an EPK (electronic press kit) released by Sony.

That’s what B-rolls are for. They are given to TV companies (as an EPK) so they can be edited with presenters, interviews and other ‘talking heads’ (the A-roll) to enliven features on the film.

Well thats ok..thanks for putting my mind to ease, Shrublands and Marketto.. As Roger Moore might have put it from Live and Let Die, "You can't be too careful when posting video clips....these days.."

Does anyone have an idea what replaces the gunbarrel in the opening of the film? I have heard elsewhere that there is a two second "can't miss" after the MGM and Sony logos. Anyone have info on this?

That exchange alone is some of the best dialogue we've ever heard in a Bond film. Very good.

Agreed. I've considered Haggis' scenes with Bond and Vesper a high benchmark, but this blows it out of the water. Well done, Logan. (And P & W!)

"Age doesn't guarantee efficiency."

"And youth doesn't guarantee innovation."

Brilliant. Very witty and clever! Although I do wish Q had followed up "You must be joking" with "I never joke about my work, 007"

From what we've seen from BTS footage, the M-Mallory exchange about Bond in the South China Sea will be even better!

Maybe they do, there are several Q/Bond exchanges and scenes we haven't seen yet.

I think "I never joke about my work, 007" is too much, we went there with DAD and look at that.

Quite. We don't need to be beaten over the head with those sort of references. This works much more effectively.

"You must be joking" works because it's a common phrase, and because Craig gives it a totally different intonation than Connery's delivery of the line. But "I never joke about my work, 007" is so incredibly specific that it would stick out as a quotation that had been shoehorned in.

Brilliant scene. We can talk about the individual lines all day but my take-away is that the scene is a pleasure to watch, even multiple times.

Ok I'm sure I'm missing something here - but is there some kind of joke behind the "or not pulled... It's hard to know which in your pyjamas" line? Some kind of innuendo? Because its going over my head.

I don't read any innuendo in this line, but maybe I'm just thickheaded :) It's just Bond insisting on the fact that field agents and HUMINT are essential to make the right decision, and hackers can't rule the intelligence game (in their pyjamas).
