And holy hell, have you seen the quick shot of Silva shooting in the enquiry room in 'Fear'?! He looks pretty scary, and rather pi$$ed!! He's going to be intense!!

So, it looks like this is some kind of organised fight, that Bond is perhaps forced to take part in, with people betting on the result.

I think the Omega TV spot also contains our first sighting of the helicopter crashing in the battle at Skyfall Lodge.

I honestly, for the life of me, cannot make out the 'awful CGI'. Except the close up of the Omega watch, when Bond is on the bike. The shot of Bond looks fine.
It's intended for the ad, won't appear in the final cut.
Check out the TND Omega Ad: the same close-up on Bond's watch during the bike chase (at 0:08)

Yes, that does sound reasonable. I had the idea of Bond and Silva engaging in a shooting match ala Thunderball and Moonraker, where we see Silva firing the antique gun. We know that isn't the point of the scene now. So I'd be glad if this Komodo man duel is in that vein. If that is the case, this isn't your typical casino, that's for sure. I wonder, would this be upon Bond's entry or exit to the place? In the bit where Bond is fighting Komodo Man in the floating casino (0:15 in the "Word" trailer), there are people up on the balcony behind them casually watching them duke it out.
So, it looks like this is some kind of organised fight, that Bond is perhaps forced to take part in, with people betting on the result.

Ah, I see. I was thinking the Komodo man could've been a mean coat check/bouncer type that took offence to Bond, with the crowd watching the violence and going back to their drinks ala the catina scene in A New Hope.I believe it's as Bond leaves the casino.

That could still work. If we assume the Komodo dragons are at the entrance to the casino, I guess there's a chance that Bond has a brief unpleasant exchange with the guards as he enters the casino, and finishes the job on his way out after doing the business on the casino tables, attracting a crowd of onlookers as he does so.Ah, I see. I guess a lot depends on how long the sequence actually is in Macau. My guess is that the action there is an important bridging point in the plot, as it's from here that he moves on to meet Silva.

It was never officially released onto the internet.
