It was made to look like that in the trailer. I think the same line is recycled in the TV spot and shown to actually be used in the office scene. The line "007 reporting for duty" is said in M's flat, if I remember correctly.

What does everyone make of the delivery of the line "007 reporting for duty"? From both this TV spot and the international trailer, I think Craig's delivery is full of irony, perhaps suggesting a displeasure towards whoever he's addressing... Possibly reading too much into it, but it's certainly something I've noted more than once.
There is a certain world-weariness to his voice there. Which is probably quite understandable, considering he's recently been shot, fallen off a bridge, gone over a waterfall, and ended up in the sea, and nobody from MI6 seems to have bothered to look for him.

Which is why it's more likely to come from the scene in M's flat. Bond's got no reason to be facetious to Nu M at the end of the film.

I'd say the Bond and Mallory 'M' scene is likely to be more one of mutual respect and understanding, after the Select Committee incident. Maybe a little bit standoffish. But they both know they're on the same team now.
I wouldn't be surprised if the very last scene is between Bond and Eve in the outer office, ending with the "Moneypenny" line.

Say it with irony, and you´ve got a winner, say it seriously, and it´s just plain cheesy, I´d say it´s delivered at M´s flat uppon his return from death. Bond only says "M..." when he walks through the padded door, it´s clearly visible if you read his lips.

007 reporting for dutty:

I agree absolutely, univex. It would be a really awkward line if delivered in the office of the new M, I don't buy it at all.

Yeah, I have as solid of evidence as it gets. That line is delivered in M's flat. And no, I won't post that evidence on here.
Copy of the script? Yes, that would be as solid as it gets.

Unless Bond says the line twice - once with irony in M´s flat, and once earnestly in the new M´s office.

Not the entire thing but I do have that scene.

The shot of Severine in the white and black robe intrigues me in more ways than one :-) Where does this scene take place? On the boat before the shower scene? The guy off to the side she is looking at does not look like Craig though.
The head on screen right is her, the main part of that image is her reflection in a mirror.

Didn't notice that. Good spot.

JazzyBond - yes, I believe that shot is from on-board the yacht, while Severine is waiting for Bond to join her.

She does look up to no good in that shot... unless she's just pleased with what she's snagged in the guise of Bond. That shot looks like you should watch your back.

New SKYFALL TV spot released, entitled "Fear". Not much new, apart from a great shot of Silva unloading his gun into the Board of Inquiry room.
