Not even trying to conceal the ending anymore, are they?

While I may have indulged in images and seen most of the spots, I've been quite strategic on what I consume. Surprisingly I know little about this Kincade fellow that gets mentioned or much about the lodge in the end. However, that spot kind of killed me.

That shot of Silva and his men just walking right up to Skyfall lodge is just awesome.

It gives me some kind of western vibe.
It's like the villain and his gunmen - very old-school.

I second this.

I dont think that they would just give the ending away but it does confirm more that Mallory is the new M?

I think there is something else after that line.....I think the new M and Bond relationship seem to be good already

My reply seems to have disappeared, even though there was nothing spoilery in it. Anyway, what I was said was the production team most likely didn't consider it a spoiler because only Bond fans who have been following the production closely would realise the placement of the scene. They probably believe that noone outside of the film would know the significance.

For all anyone watching the trailers without any information knows, that scene could be after Bond's psych evaluation and Mallory's giving him the all clear.

Entirely agreed. That brief scene in the TV spot is only a big spoiler for probably about 0.1% of people who will see it over the next few weeks.

Exactly.

I was talking about this to a friend, not a hard-core Bond fan, but someone who has seen all the films a number of times; he has also followed enough of the production on-line to know who’s in Skyfall and the character names.
He said, “They have doors like that in lots of Whitehall offices. It could just be in Mallory’s office from the start.” Then I had to explain more, much more.

Why? You could have just tapped your nose knowingly and said "you'll see" and gave a wink - letting him be in the dark still until the release.

Or maybe all we are presuming is wrong and they are playing with us?
Some days ago, Le Cercle's president spoke with Craig's italian dubber, and he said "There will be surprises". Now, maybe he was talking about the new M, or maybe he just know what the audience think it's going to happen and the surprise is that it's not going to happen.

Love how they cut the three gunshots at the end perfectly with the music. Despite the German this is the best spot they've made.

Cracking TV spots - that bike jump onto the train looks fantastic! And Craig still is the most bad-[censored] shooting his Walther!

I wonder if the line "With pleasure" will be the last line of the film.

As for the above, cool to see that the shot of Bond rocketing himself onto the train is presented for a moment from Patrice's point of view.

Best bet I've heard so far. Definitely potential for further dialogue with M(allory), but they could end it as "With pleasure" too. Excited to see how it plays out.

BOND: 007 reporting for duty.
MALLORY: Are you ready to get back to work?
BOND: With pleasure.

Works for me!

Would certainly explain why they pulled a TV spot that was almost identical in content with all of the previous ones save the one exchange.

And that motorbike chase across the rooftops just screams to me Mendes and crew saying "Look how you do a REAL Bond rooftop chase Forster!!"

I think when he mean "he one of us" this mean he was a former spy/agent who used to work for the intelligence service it does not mean it has to be MI6

I think M's defending Bond there. Mallory probably suggests he might have been involved in the attack on MI6, since he was missing in action at the time, and she rejects the idea.
