Best spot to date. Saying that though, that cuff adjustment has lost all kind of impact. So overused.

Agreed, DamnCoffee about it being the best spot yet and also that cuff ajustment being used in EVERY TV spot has kind of worn thin..LOVE that line from 007, "A gun and a radio...not exactly Christmas!!" LOL :)

Unfortunately you're right about the cuffs. I was thinking the same thing days ago. I truly hope there are other very Bondish elements waiting to surprise us (I'm confidant there will be).

Yep. It's just like what they want they did with the art gallery fall in QOS, and to a lesser extent the Aston roll in CR.

Missed this earlier. That's a great one. "Where are we going?" "Back in time". Sweet.

They showed that one on Channel 4 tonight, during The Million Pound Drop.

I saw a new one, during a showing of Prom Night (ironically) on the Horror Channel.

It starts with the usual shots of MI6 blowing up and M with the coffins, Bond on the roof with the flag and the train crashing through the underground tunnel behind him.

M says: "We're under attack. Whoever's behind this knows us."

Then we see Silva in silhouette at Skyfall, accompanied by some echoey maniacal laughter.

M: "He's one of us!"

Then shots of the lodge blowing up, etc.

Bond says, over a shot of him chasing through London: "We've been one step behind from the start."

Then there are a few more action shots, and we see the Jaguar speeding away.

Bond, at the wheel, says: "It's time to get out in front."

Then a shot of Bond firing a gun in the Dead City, and the cuffs moment.

I'm not getting tired of the cufflink moment in the slightest. I AM sick and tired of seeing the "not like thees, not like heem" bit though.

The whole quote actually has somewhat of a throwback to the old films.

"Well, a gun and a radio. Not exactly Christmas."

"You were expecting an exploding pen? We don't really do that anymore..."

"That's a nasty little Christmas present" - Bond in FRWL.

"Very novel Q, you must get them in the stores for Christmas" - Bond in MR.

bardem brainwashed 007

that's why in the trailer they are treating him like a mental patient

asking him how he reacts to certain words like...

AGENT or SKYFALL

Do you have a source on this? I don't believe that's correct.

Between "Dying" and coming back to London, I don't believe Bond has any contact with Silva or anyone connected with his plans.

No, you're quite right.

I was wondering if the implication was that he had previously been brainwashed, but it seems the characters haven't met before, so I assume it's just speculation.

I believe gerard123 was just offering a theory.

That said, I have read in one of the reviews that Silva, when he is interrogating Bond, does try to turn him (not only "on" ;)) by reminding him of the way M[ommy] let him down, and of the sorry state he's in, addicted to drink and pills. Not downright brainwash, sure, but still some psychological play.

I saw a new one on TNT last night. Loads of new footage, including a classic line from Q. Hopefully it shows up online at some point.
