I didn't buy it. I rented it from gamefly. If I ever do buy it, it won't be until I can get it for like $5 on ebay or at gamestop or something.

I rented it to, if it was good enough or decent like GE:R, then I would have bought it. It isn't, now I will wait until the price drops to buy it.

I thankfully got it for free from the UK launch event, I'm VERY pleased about cancelling my £38 pre-order!

You lucked out on that one casinoroyale. I really wonder how much of this game's failure was the result of activision limiting eurocom vs. the incompetency of the developers.

seawolf, did I see in another thread you posted in there is a 2013 Bond game planned? Is this true, or speculation?

I believe I posted that in the corrupt...a wish thread as a joke, so as of right now I do not know of any 2013 Bond game. I would actually be quite surprised if there were to be a Bond game this year given how awful 007L was received both critically and commercially. Unrelated, nice new pic casino .

Phew! I was going to say I thought another one in 2013 was a little bit too far - I was getting worried about that!!
And thanks - like your Av pic too!

Maybe it it was the Raven game that has been teased since 2010, but I'm positive that's been cancelled. I'd rather have the 2013 Bond game news be that Activision is selling the Bond license.
And thanks! It's easily one of my favorite pictures of Eva. I have it as my desktop background too!

They must be joking!!! I don't believe it!
007 apart, I'm disappointed they left Kingdoms of Amalur off, because it has a very good plot.

Aww, that's a nice insult to the Guild.

I seriously hope that is a joke, not just 007 Legends, but the other games nominated as well.

Yeah.. you can tell how serious the list is they have epic mickey on that list too.

Clearly, Bruce Feirstein nominated himself.

How the hell do I destroy the capsules at the end of Moonraker? I get to three, then I either run out of time, or get shot
to pieces.
Bloody game, and the stealth missions are extremely flawed, you seem to get spotted no matter what.

Ohh, just think Shaun, you're so close to one of the worst endings for a James Bond game, yet so far...!
Best advice for the Moonraker capsules is just practice the order they open up in to maintain firing at them to destroy them, and focus more on moving around getting to each one rather than taking out the bad guys. Only take them out if they are in your sights, otherwise just try move from side to side.
It's tricky, but it can be done, they've just made it a complex moment rather than a more straightforward one...!
And I learnt with the stealth parts, you shouldn't even bother unless it results in a mission fail - just go in there a destroy them as they'll see you anyway, no matter how hard you try!

It means nothing, but at least 007 Legends has a higher user score on metacritic than Modern Warfare 3. So I guess that must be something....

Yes, it really is! The only reason I still own it is because I keep anything Bond related.
It's rushed, lazy, un-conclusive and cheap. It pains me to say it, but this was the worst game they could have done for a 50th year... and they lost the licence because of it and poor sales.

I saw that Activision isn't doing Bond games anymore. I only want to get it cus its a Bond game, and the game play reminds me of COD. I wonder who will take over the Bond games?Yes, it really is! The only reason I still own it is because I keep anything Bond related.

I'm not who will take on the games at the moment - I reckon once Bond 24 gets off the ground we may hear developments.
If you find it cheap and do love Bond as a whole, then buy it for a very generic and satisfying (in few places) Bond game that doesn't require skill or any interaction between your brain and the controls or puzzles.

I certainly will
My advice: don't buy. The game is nothing but a lazy, cheap, COD rip-off, quick cash-in on the Bond license. It destroys the Bond mythos and sticks it's middle finger up to us Bond fans. Even as a die-hard Bond fan, I cannot bring myself to spend money on that piece of trash. I'd rather watch The Dark Knight Rises juxtaposed with images of the Yankees 2004 collapse, while sitting on hot coals mixed in with broken glass than play this piece of f***ing s*** ever again.

Blood Stone and Quantum Of Solace for the PS3 and Xbox 360 are great. GoldenEye: Reloaded is good, but repetitive.
