Even though it's Bond, it's still complete crap.

At least you got it free, it's not worth spending lots of money on for sure.
I echo the fellow gamers, I urge 'Blood Stone' and 'Quantum Of Solace' for 2 decent Bond games.

TCR and Ace are right. Blood Stone and QoS are fun games. QoS has a great cover mechanic that for whatever reason CoD refuses to adopt. Blood Stone is vastly underrated and was criminally undermarketed. GE: Reloaded isn't bad, but you can see shades of what was to come in it. It basically led to 007 Legends. Unfortunately, the seventh console generation, for the most part, has not been kind to Bond. The golden age of Bond games was from 1997-2005 (GE - FRWL).
PS- I shudder everytime I think of that series. I vehemently refuse to watch highlights of it. So you can tell how much I hate 007L that I would rather watch the 04 ALCS than play it.

I kinda like 007L. I think its cause the game play is like COD.
That's why it's bad.
Other reasons:
terribly rushed, especially the plot
repetitive
"walk, shoot, cutscene, walk, shoot cutscene" gameplay

Haha! Good choice jmarks - 'Blood Stone' has a lot more variety and actually feels like a structured, clever Bond game.

It's Call of Duty: Bond. That's only the basis for why it's terrible.

Now I agree after playing it for a day or so. Taking it back, and picking up Bloodstone instead.
BLOODSTONE, while decidedly better than 007 LEGENDS, is pretty mediocre itself. The driving levels are abysmal and the whole things really feels like a half-baked update of EVERYTHING OR NOTHING, just with a more serious, Craig Era grittiness instead of catering to the over-the-top nature of the Brosnan Era. It is a step up from FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, I'll give it that, though.
The only Bond games that I think that I would recommend would be GOLDENEYE 007 for the N64 and EVERYTHING OR NOTHING. The rest of the Bond games range from extremely mediocre (BLOODSTONE) to shockingly awful (FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, 007 LEGENDS).

I need a good Bond game to play.
Sadly, such Bond games are extremely rare.
Of the Bond games not called GOLDENEYE 007 or EVERYTHING OR NOTHING, I suppose that BLOODSTONE is the best, but that's pretty faint praise I think.

Actually, you might enjoy the new GOLDENEYE 007. It's somewhat similar to CALL OF DUTY, which you said you were a fan of if I remember correctly.

What do you suggest for a Daniel Craig Bond game(I'll likely pick up FRWL too being I did play that before)?Everything Or Nothing and From Russia With Love are fantastic Bond games.

Quantum Of Solace is a great one, with good action and stealth aspects along with a great cover system. Blood Stone is a third person shooter that has good action/stealth elements, but the driving missions are whats lacking.
Both are solid games, but I'd go with Blood Stone.

'GoldenEye 007 Reloaded' served a purpose, but didn't live to what I'd expected for bringing the theme of the N64 game back.
It was starting to veer into '007 Legends' territory, as clear from the latter almost identical to 'GE:R'. But some good level rendering and characters, but the final battle with Trevelyan is one of the worst boss confronations in gaming history...jeez.....!

GE:R relied far too heavily on the CoD train and the GE name to sell, instead of crafting it's own niche. The Trevelyan fight is terrible as is the tank chase. Although, the archives level is a great update on the original, but otherwise it never really lives up to it's predecessor. QoS is a decent entry and has a great cover mechanic that for whatever f-ed up reason CoD still doesn't have. Blood Stone is fun, but the story feels unfinished. FRWL is a misfire. The PS2 trilogy of Agent Under Fire, Nightfire and Everything or Nothing is great. EoN is easily the best Bond game since GE on N64. Nightfire feels like an updated Moonraker and AUF is good despite it's short length. Here's how I would rank the Bond games starting with Goldeneye 007 (1997)
1. Goldeneye 007 (1997, N64)
2. Everything or Nothing (2004, PS2/XBOX)
3. The World Is Not Enough (2000, N64)
4. Nightfire (2002, PS2, XBOX)
5. Blood Stone (2010, PS3/X360)
6. Quantum of Solace (2008, PS3/X360)
7. Quantum of Solace (2008, PS2) (The PS2 version of QoS is 3rd person with no multiplayer, but actually has a better single player)
8. Agent Under Fire (2001, PS2)
9. From Russia with Love (2005, PS2/XBOX)
10. Goldeneye 007 (2010, Wii)
11. Goldeneye: Reloaded (2011, PS3/X360)
12. The World Is Not Enough (2000, PS1)
13. 007 Racing (2000, PS1)
14. Tomorrow Never Dies (1999, PS1)
15. Goldeneye: Rogue Agent (2004, PS2, XBOX)
16. 007 Legends (2012, PS3/X360)

I don't mean to be negative here, but I found 007 Legends to be a HUGE waste of time. It was just such a sub-standard mediocre game. I completed it as it stood and then downloaded the extra Skyfall content (that whole arrangement was a bit of a con if you ask me). I got to some level where I had to do a motorcycle chase and just thought "enough of this" and turned the stupid thing off. It's a shame because I really enjoyed Goldeneye 007: Reloaded and rather foolishly thought this might be a worthy follow-up. It most certainly wasn't. Screw this game.
