Scarily good for a computer character! I hope Davi is lending a hand - Craig's Bond vs Sanchez should be brutal and brilliant!

Plus, update from 007: Legends FB:

Five more days until the next 007 Legends movie reveal! Any ideas? Comment below if you hink you know what it is!

Wow, he looks great! Hopefully they got Davi back to voice Sanchez.

That would be fantastic. If the game itself is a letdown, the voice talent already attached will make things worthwhile.

It's not, though. It's a photo of Davi pasted on top of a digitally painted visual of his outfit. Presumably it's a bit of concept art.

For those few who might still doubt it'll be Goldfinger:

Kind of neat seeing modern day American solders involved on the raid. This looks almost exactly like MW2, though. Downed flags, etc. Hopefully they set part of the Goldfinger segment in Switzerland. It'll be a bit of a let down if we have to deal with an entirely America-based mission. That said, this does have my interest piqued. Could be pretty spectacular, with the troops rushing in and everything.

The box art seems confirmed then, MS are using it on their site and on console:

Fort Know picture looks prettier than expected. But yes, very MW-ish. As far as that cover goes, well, I don't think I need to rehash my distaste for it.

Good find lechro!

Well that seals the deal then, 007: Legends is set!

And storming Fort Knox eh? Could be good fun with the Bond them blasting out hopefully!

007 Legends confirmed for Wii U!

I was thinking of getting it on PC, but Bond and Nintendo are kind of tradition, so I may pick this up on Wii U, especially if it has local multiplayer using the GamePad the same as displayed for Black Ops II.

The cover is atrocious, there's really no way around that. It's very poor fan art, at best.

The screenshot is even more disappointing, however. You can find countless images that are nearly identical to that in any Call of Duty game. The Bond gaming franchise should not be modelling itself after Call of Duty, which is so ridiculously overrated it's hard to find the words to explain just how overrated it is. I bought one game in that franchise, based on a recommendation of a friend, and found myself wondering why that nonsense is so popular.

I don't doubt there'll be Goldfinger, but after looking at that pic I doubt it's a 007 game instead of a Call of Duty game.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this game because I watched Licence To Kill and declared that my second favourite Bond movie. My interest for this game's back.

...or it never left.

If that is a real screenshot, then I want to know if Activision will ever make a game that doesn't look 5 years old. And I definitely agree with the MW reference. I think the argument could easily be made that the shot is either from MW3 or a fan mod and not actually from 007 Legends. But if it is from 007 Legends, then the game really does not look up to the standards of a 2012 game. 2007 maybe, but not 2012.

What did you expect quite honestly... Daniel's poorly done model on the cover, I'd say, is the worst part.

I look forward to playing the License To Kill pieces more than any other and hopefully, OHMSS will be fun as well... These alone have me sold and with Activision still at the helm, I'll take what I can get at this point.

Seems to be par for the course with the entire Bond franchise as of late. They must have used every last ounce of creativity to make that brilliant Casino Royale teaser poster, because every bit of artwork, be it for the films or the games or whatever else, has been dreadful.

I'd say they realised the error of releasing Goldfinger early, and updated the image.

Note that this box art has reverted back to the placeholder box.

I also check the Nintendo press kit and the box is the same place holder design as this. I'd say we still haven't seem what the final cover will be.

Probably because they realized the shot of Bond with Jill Masterson spoiled the GF reveal as the game's final mission.

That's most likely why they want back to the placeholder artwork, but I'm going to hold onto the slim sliver of a hope that we'll get something different. The artwork for Skyfall has been abysmal so far, and everything we've seen from 007 Legends has been consistently subpar, it would be nice to have one piece of artwork related to the Bond franchise that is actually good.

Wishful thinking I think tdalton - it's quicker and easier to knock something up like what we have with sub-par images, or stock photos.

I mean, that cover really is fan-made. It's awful. I mean, just on a plain background, not even a faint gunbarrel motiff or anything!

The achievements have been released: http://www.xbox360ac...s/achievements/

Look similar to GE Reloaded. There's a lot of multiplayer ones again though, including what looks like prestiging, ala Call of Duty, once and playing for 24 hours! I really hope they've improved the framerate since last year, as Reloaded's multiplayer was quite fun otherwise.

Nice to see they are consistent with the style from last year and are similar in nature, finally a bit of consistency and hopefully a sign that they have built on last year's game.

I guess the secret ones will be for Skyfall, or perhaps we will get some extra ones when it releases.

Oh, and very nice to see you can play as the characters from the campaign in multiplayer: "Get 25 electrocution kills as Zao or Gustav Graves." I think it's shaping up to be quite a nice follow up to Reloaded, more of the same but better.

Agreed. I'm not actually expecting them to come back with anything other than the garbage they've already showed for the cover art, but it would be nice if they did. All of the Skyfall artwork is awful and the game artwork (or the game itself, really) doesn't appear to be anything to write home about, so it would just be nice to see something that looks decent. Won't happen, though.

I agree. The lack of AI bots since 2002 has been disappointing to me. I gave Nightfire’s multiplayer a go just a few moments ago, and it's still really good. It hasn’t been matched since and playing it brought back a lot of memories. Using the grappling device and controlling the miniature heliopters/tanks. All around balanced fun.
