Apparently, no, Nolan is a highly controversial choice with people either loving or hating his work and little to no middle grounds left. I seem to be one of the few fans not caring much either way whether Nolan ever has a director's chair provided by Eon or not.
But even I must say after rewatching TDK recently - I had next to no memories of it since seeing it for the first time - I actually fell asleep during the last 15/20 minutes. Since this I'm no longer very fond of the Nolan-for-Bond idea. I suppose his work connects to audiences in a particular way that's mainly based on the scripts provided by his brother, and I'm not sure if these particular storylines really gel with what a Bond film calls for. I'd say INCEPTION was his Bond film, which I liked very much, but it's perhaps better to leave it at that.
