Interesting that on the first day of shooting that (perhaps) a clue has been revealed? I have long suspected that something is hidden inside that dog - perhaps a cryptic message from Bond's past?

I don't think that can be right, that would be quite a bit cheaper than SF and Barbara Broccoli has said that it is more expensive. 

My expectation is that it will be the most costly so far and QoS was well over $200m.

Here's an article from an austrian newspaper with a new picture of the set.

It says they are arranging parts of a plane and a damaged Land Rover. So it seems they are preparing a shoot for a scene that takes place after the plane crashed.

The scene will also involve a ski-chase.

Someone from Obertilliach is interviewed and says: "We already heard lots of explosions and have seen smoke coming up."

 

But all of this is only a rehearsal, as the article says. Real shooting will begin in January.
