The more I look at it the less I like it.

Still, there'll be another one along sooner or later.

Do keep in mind what teasers have looked liked in the past. Gold hued Bond. Flaming female silhouette. Gun on an ice block. Will take this one over those.

It's certainly a more realistic approach. Got to say, it gives me a rather serious sense this one. Something I've never felt about the franchise. It's like it's grown up. The trailer will talk. Monday can't come soon enough.

I consider Casino as the mid-20s of the franchise in terms of maturity. This is the third decade(30+). The excitement has settled-down for a more realistic approach. Or at least this is what I hope.

I think it is a good poster, nothing more, nothing less. Wasn't blown away or anything, But it's definitely Bond.

Now that I see it I feel I could have seen it before...

I feel a little cheated in that regard. And I agree with the above that it looks like "fan art". I love the gun barrel but I do feel as if using it is a bit cheap. That being said I can't believe that it hasn't been done before, or that they didn't save it for Craig's replacement. I liked the other two Craig posters more, but that is just my initial reaction.

I, for one, love it. It´s classy, simple. Love the black&white. Still love the title. And it beats the QOS easily. The CR one was better, I admit. But this one is pure iconographic Bond.

This, the Empire cover and Bond standing by the DB5 are my favourite Skyfall images so far. Talk about iconography.

What the poster does is effectively send the message that Craig is established as Bond, and that SKYFALL is "classic Bond." The image is nothing groundbreaking, but it's a fine, classy image that announces a new Bond film will be here soon.

Agreed. I gather the poster is about celebrating the character as much as it's about announcing the release of a new film, and that is achieved.

I suspect in years to come Craig's Bond will be known as 'the b/w Bond'. That always used to be a dream of mine and these posters are probably the closest we're likely to get.

I think it looks brilliant. Very classy, and gives off the vibe of both continuing what the first two Craig films did whilst also being more of a "traditional" Bond film, which is what I'm hoping Skyfall turns out to be.
