Could be, but tough to know for sure. Appears to be wearing a suit.

Another recent video showing preparations for filming on a train along the Adana railway line. The actor who is seen shooting a gun on the rooftop train is probably Ola Rapace or his double. The actor crouched beside the digger could be Craig's stunt double.

I haven't enough time to translate the article now, so here is a rough translation from Google Translator.

Yeah, that does look like Rapace, doesn't it.

Great detective work, as always, Luigi.

And there are those Beetles.

Thanks, Luigi.

You're welcome, Royal Dalton.

It is a bit difficult to see at first sight, but if you look closely at 00 min 27 secs you can spot also the Land Rover Defender speeding alongside the railway tracks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqFD1wx8eSA&feature=channel

I thought a lot about the the Beetles and their role in this sequence and I think I've understood how they are intended to be employed.

Possible spoiler alert!

Right i'm calling it.

If this is indeed the case, and I have a feeling it is. Bond will do away with Patcice in the train sequence. It seems like a typical awesome villain death scenario. Which means. This ISN'T the PTS set piece.

Nope, the train sequence follows China etc. If it is Patrice on the roof, it does mean that Bond doesn't kill him in Shanghai, which is what I'd been expecting, to be honest.

I'm keen to hear details of what the PTS in Istanbul will involve though.

Silva breaking out of prison, possibly? Although, I would have thought that would come after the main titles.

I think after the train sequence is the bit with the yacht, where Severine probably meets her end.

Maybe Eve drives the jeep alongside the train? Or keeps at a safe distance so she can retrieve Bond.

I wonder how long this train scene is going to be. I'm guessing some of those beetles get crashed or throw of the train by that excavator.

I think it might be the villain's stunt double. It was speculated that it might be Ola Rapace's character Patrice.

I noticed that the arm was in the lowered position and facing toward the rear of the train, and that several Beetles are on the flat car between the digger and the freight car where the man is standing on the roof. We've previously seen the digger immediately behind the freight cars, with the arm raised and facing forward. I think this lends credence to Luigi's prior speculation as to how this scene will play out. Fantastic stuff!

Some scenes of 007 James Bond's latest movie Skyfall is being shot in Adana and Istanbul in Turkey. Shootings in Adana province have been completed and now it's time for Istanbul. Between April 16th - May 6th a movie platform will be settled in front of the Spice market in Eminonu neighbourhood and artists and stunts will be there.

Just a reminder for those who will be visiting Istanbul during this period: all Eminonu area where the Spice Market and Yeni mosque are, will be close to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for about 3 weeks therefore be prepared for lots of traffic and most probabily for not being able to visit the Spice Market area.

Judging from these reports, I guess the first unit will film in Istanbul first, then head for Fethiye in mid-May, before returning to Adana in late May to wrap up the shooting. Wondering when DC will finally arrive in Turkey.

some more details on the Istanbul shooting:

http://translate.goo...6prmd%3Dimvnsob

Based on what is being reported in this and in previous articles, the shooting schedule in Turkey may be as follows.

Istanbul

- Set preparation start : Monday, April 9
- Shooting period: April 16 to May 6
- Filming start : Monday, April 16. They are filming action scenes involving blowing up of vehicles and motorcycle chases which don't require the main actors to be on set. It's 2nd unit work.
- Arrival of the main cast: Monday, April 30. This is in partial disagreement with Tonia Sotiropoulou's previous statement, alleging that her scenes are planned to be filmed throughout five days starting from April 22, considering that her scenes are likely to be with Daniel Craig. It's 1st unit work.

Adana

May 5 to 6: Closure to traffic of the Kasim Gulek bridge, to shoot close-ups of Daniel Craig in the sequence of him jumping off the bridge, I presume. Please, note that in the meantime this date may have been changed.

Fethiye

May 21 to 22.
