You mean...

Spoiler

Is the pit fight tracked from another cue (i.e. Silhouette) or is it original/unreleased?

Just got major Déjà vu. Anyway yes. Infact, I think that the Pit Fight is Granborough Road, too.

With the help of a terrible quality, incomplete, Spanish bootleg of that scene - I've figured out this.

Pit fight = the following.

Unreleased first part.
0:32-1:04 from Granborough Road
2:00 to end.

George Martin's effort is excellent. Serra gets big marks with his Goldeneye Overture alone. He really left an impact on me with that style of sound. I'd rank Newman in the top three of non Barry scores. It's a good one from my point of view. And more importantly, these three scores (I'm going on viewer feedback, eg. marktmurphy's comment) fit the respective films like a glove.

Interesting how this score is really dividing listeners.

And shocking, too. Since Newman really excels at using the Bond theme in so many varied ways, employing many new themes and really tailoring the score to the film.

A shame, IMO, if some people do not recognize its brilliance.

On the whole Thomas Newman has done a good job. I would have liked a tad more "interpolations" of the title track and the Norman theme, but it works as a mix of modern and classic orchestral, and most importantly it works within the film.

Having seen SF twice now - and enjoyed it even more second time around, normally my feelings dip a bit on viewing 2 as I spot the flaws! - the film strikes me as probably the most "patriotic" of the Bonds, and one of the most poignant, and this I find in the tracks "Voluntary Retirement", "Tennyson" and "Mother". SF is a film in which "M" plays a very important role, and the tracks reflect that.

Not unless it's right at the end of the credits: I didn't hang around until the very end.

Is there anybody to tell us in which order the tracks have to be listened if you want to have them in the same order as they appear in the movie?

I think some changes are required, but here's an effort from earlier in this thread:

This is a tentatively re-sequencing of the soundtrack, I've seen the film a couple times during the week but I'm still uncertain as to a few of them(marked wit a *, there could of course be more errors:D) ).

What's strange is how actually lots of the score is in the right order, and still some tracks are way of...

Sequence OST Track Title
1 1 Grand Bazaar, Istanbul
2 14 The Bloody Shot
4 2 Voluntary Retirement
5 15 Enjoying Death
6 3 New Digs
7 5 Brave New World*
8 30 Adrenaline*
9 10 Day Wasted*
10 6 Shanghai Drive
11 7 Jellyfish
12 8 Silhouette
13 9 Modigliani*
14 17 Close Shave
15 13 Komodo Dragon
16 12 Someone Usually Dies
17 4 Severine
18 16 The Chimera
19 11 Quartermaster
20 18 Health & Safety
21 19 Granborough Road
22 20 Tennyson
23 21 Enquiry
24 22 Breadcrumbs
25 23 Skyfall
26 24 Kill Them First
27 25 Welcome to Scotland
28 26 She's Mine
29 27 The Moors
30 28 Deep Water
31 29 Mother
32 31 Old Dog, New Tricks*

Kinda bad formatting here, but could be worse...

"Adrenaline" is heard during the end titles, no, after the JB's theme?

I like the End from Casino Royale, first the Bond-Theme, then the Title-Song again, this is the perfect combination

08 05 Brave New World
09 06 Shanghai Drive
10 07 Jellyfish
11 08 Silhouette
12 09 Modigliani
13 17 Close Shave
14 13 Komodo Dragon

* I think "Granborough Road" comes before "Health & Safety", but I'm not sure.
** I don't think we hear this track at all in the movie.

Popping back in for a second solely to ask - is Old Dog, new Tricks really not in the film? If not, that's a damn shame. I never did listen to the full album during all the hoopla a few weeks ago, but from what I heard, that track was a damn standout.

Well, I have a preference for the "travel"-cues like "Brave New World" / "Komodo Dragon" / "The Chimera".

But I love "New Digs" too, as well as "Shangai Drive", "Quartermaster" and "The Moors".

However, "Jellyfish" and "She's Mine" are really to much Batman/Spiderman-like for me.
