Maybe it's something then that 'M' wants her to have...god, I don't know. I try to think but I can't picture anything without it being cheesy or rubbish that would explain such an emotive shot of them both, on a roof, with a black box.

If Eve takes it...is it for her, or is she going to keep it safe and hidden.

If Bond takes it...is it something to do with him/their past or does he have to make sure it gets somewhere else?

Me too but the silencer does look good considering Marketto007 added it. I would have thought the silencer would have been larger.

There have been a number of different versions of the Bond coat of arms. The above is the one designed by Production Designer Syd Cain for the film of OHMSS.Dennis Gassner may well have come up with his own take on it - in fact, that's what I'd expect.

Here is a different one used on the dust jacket of the original hardback.

Interesting find Vauxhall, thanks for posting! It seems the 3 golden orbs are a prominent feature for Bond's crest, and I can't see them in that set picture.

Fascinating stuff. Can almost everyone be traced back to a certain family and coat of arms? Would love to know if my family has one, we are certainly not royalty though.
