This photo's not new. It's been shown online since Marlohe was first announced.

Like I said before...

Looks like this photo from BM is not new. Apologies since I tought it was the same clothes she was wearing on the Skyfall photoshoot.

Yes, I agree. I imagine we will see some panning shots of Bond on the rooftop and the camera will pull away. Britain saved by Bond, but always vigilant for new threats and ready to offer his services.

Although that sounds cool, I kind of hope not. I was hoping we'd have the classic: "Bond in bed with the Bond girl" finale of Bond films past.

Yeah, me too. But what if Severine turns out to be a double agent working for Mi6 and then, after Bond hands over the "box", he looks at the skyline, pays a last tribute to M with a grin and then we see him in a yacht somewhere with Severine...to our confusion, for a while, until we realise she was working with Bond the all time. She jumps in the water in a tiny bikini and then Bond dives as well, leaving us with an empty yacht deck to roll on the credits...

I know, I know, won´t happen.

Maybe. It could just as easily end with the introduction of Moneypenny. (Cue Bond theme and roll credits.)

Nice editing Marketto! Very classy.

As for the Bond ending, Craig's only had 1 definitive end that worked, and that was 'QOS', but even that was a very major close to a two-film story.

I think 'Skyfall' shouldn't do anything TOO dramatic, but leave it open enough to know we are with a defined Bond character now, and he belongs to Craig now, and he knows what we want to see in future!

I reckon it could easily be both. Small exchange of dialogue between Bond and Eve on the rooftop, she hands him a box and turns to leave. "Good evening Mr Bond" - "Thank you Miss Moneypenny" (or a snappier and more original bit of dialogue). The camera pulls out, the music swells, Bond looks out across the rooftops of Westminster, and the credits roll.

No matter how many times we talk about that ending...to some it would sound cheesy for a Bond film, the pulling back camera, the dramatic skyline, the flag waving in the shot...but something keeps telling me it would be pretty stunning to see.

If Thomas Newman scores it right and doesn't go blasting into a cluttered, loud orchestral James Bond theme (It worked for the "classic Bond line" at the end of 'CR' but he always goes too loud and proud, big and bold and I think it just detracts from the over-all cool, thrilling vibe of the theme we heard in 'Dr.No'...looking at you Mr David Arnold!), it could be very emotive ending and perfect set-up for yet more of our Bond we know and love.

I think it will be a bit of both, (rooftop with view of the Houses of Parliament and "meet" Miss Moneypenny) but she has been in the film from the beginning.

Yes, that sort of thing. Now we know Eve is in the opening action sequence, I think she and Bond already know each other from before the film starts - They call each other James and Eve.

At the end, surrounded by icons of the British government, there will be an affectionate Mr Bond - Miss Moneypenny moment, as they decide to keep their relationship professional from now on.

I thought it was confirmed Eve wasn't playing Moneypenny? Someone made the point to me that it probably wouldn't be someone who's a field agent.

Sounds great though.

Woah, it sounds as if you've read the script or something, Shrublands! Sounds about right though, at some point in SF Bond and Eve must go through something which earns the other's mutual respect.

It's also possible that she'll turn out to be "the Moneypenny" but not actually "Moneypenny". In other words, she'll occupy an analogous role, but her name will be something else, and her relationship with Bond and M will be somewhat different.

If she's literally going to be Moneypenny, I don't see why they wouldn't have revealed it by now. After all, they didn't deny that Geoffrey Wright was playing Felix Leiter, and they've admitted that Ben Whishaw will be playing Q.

But, Mendes refused to confirm that Ben Whishaw will be playing Q even though he knows we know - he said something about preserving as much mystery as possible - things are quite different this time.

I think this is a re-imagined Moneypenny - in the rebooted Bond world she will not be the same.

Oh, I thought they had confirmed Q. I admit it wouldn't be too surprising if they completely reintroduced the Moneypenny character. But I find it hard to imagine a non-contrived way of reintroducing characters like Q and Moneypenny after such a long and conspicuous absence. It's one of the aspects of the film that I'm most curious about.

It'll be interesting to see if Whishaw actually is Q. The character's called B on the cast list.

It would also fit with the pattern of Craig's Bond movie endings. They seem to have a current trend or preference for going with a mini-reveal for the fans at the end of the film.

1. CASINO ROYALE - "Bond. James Bond."
2. QUANTUM OF SOLACE - a proper gunbarrel
3. SKYFALL - Miss Moneypenny?

Oh, that's right. And people were speculating that it would be short for "Boothroyd".

Maybe EON really want to keep some surprises hidden for the fans - I remember a few months ago for 'The Dark Knight Rises', Liam Neeson said he wasn't in the film playing Raa's al Ghul and had no idea what the film would show, but now it's confirmed he is in it playing his character from 'Batman Begins'. Maybe Naomie is playing to what EON want to keep media off track as much as possible?

It really does seem we are sure Moneypenny will be in this one. I do hope so, I mean...she is part of the Bond universe, so we have our Bond and now we need the rest.

Still nice to see your thoughts how their relationship will play out, how roles will be created etc.

I think the B is for 'Boothroyd', but for the call sheet only – extras have tweeted that they were in the Bond/Q scene with Craig and Whishaw.

Craig has talked about the introduction of old characters (plural) he's talking about Q and Moneypenny.

I really want to see a scene with M and Eve, like we had with Miranda Frost, but this time with a REAL MI6 Agent. And when we'll see this...we'll hear:

Posted Image

- She asked me to give this to you, Bond.
- Thank you, Eve.
- James...now you can call me Moneypenny.

A manuscript written by a former Naval Intelligence officer which seeks to fictionalise Bond's exploits, beginning with Casino Royale. And thus the anniversary festivities come full circle.

One thing is certain: In the pictures overlooking the city, Bond doesn´t have the box. So...will this happen afterwards? Is Bond giving Eve the box or the other way around?

From the series of photos I saw on the day of filming, I’d say Bond gives the box to Eve.
