Yes, thanks so much for all this PPK.

Empire makes an educated guess, from what they have seen during various set visits in February and April, that "Silva's MO has something to do with computers and the control of information".

Computers and the control of information - Yes, someone (Silva or people working for him) hacks the flash drive on Tanner’s laptop – this happens just before the explosion at MI6.

Then there is that computer wall screen (Scene 97) this is roughly where in the film I’m expecting the Hashima Island sequence to be... and Bond first meets Silva there.

Could this ruined and seemingly deserted place be his base of operations?

Yeah, it could well be. Good thinking, Shrublands.

Amazing pictures! That publicity shot of Craig totally reeks of Connery, and I love it!

That pic of Bond with the flag and the Houses of Parliament in the distance. It's all set up to be the last shot of the film, isn't it.

Me too. I shall be quite surprised if I see a clapper board with a scene number higher than 172.

Awesome photos, thanks for the updates today. I might just get I copy of Empire if I see it while I'm out today. A picture of Berenice like this would be great, too.

That cover photo exudes the 60's feel which we were promised by Michael G. Wilson.

Aw..and just look...it's the PPK fitting perfectly in his palm and also in the classic one-handed grip, not that chunky old P99 with huge silencer needing two!

Brings a tear to your eye doesn't it..

Did I read where Dennis Gassner said "Bond is back from the dead?" And that the whole film is based on illusion? Does this, perhaps, support some of the speculation about the PTS including Bond falling from the train bridge and (perhaps) being reported as dead?

We'll let you off Mharkin, as that still oozes a great Bond vibe, and a very good tease for the film!

If there was something else just over Bond's PPK shoulder, I don't know...some wording or something, you'd have pretty brill teaser poster I think!

I have a very strong feeling that the gunbarrel will be uber-awesome this time. Something tells me the music will be Connery-like.

That's something I'm praying for too Aris007. If they nail a new gunbarrel, at the beginning of the film where it belongs, then they are going to win back so many fans that they have got the near-perfect Bond film (if everything else is as positive as the images!)

A couple of other bits from the Empire article:

When SFX supervisor Chris Corbould is asked what Skyfall's unique tone is, he replies "I'd say arthouse. I think people will look at this and think 'wow, that's a beautiful shot.' But there is lots of action as well, don't get me wrong!"

Both Craig and Mendes have mentioned FRWL and LALD as touchstones, while the reappearance of gadget master Q promises a higher gadget quotient.

During our conversations with Mendes, Temime (costume designer), Gassner, Powell and Corbould, Empire also senses strains of LTK and YOLT.
