Two separate scenes set on the same yacht, I reckon.

One in Turkey for the PTS and another later on in the film for the journey to Hashima Island.

My thinking was that there are two separate scenes filmed at Fethiye - one in Turkey shortly after the PTS with Bond and his girlfriend at the beach, and another with Bond and Severine on the yacht before/during the journey to Hashima. Similar thinking though; I think we're getting somewhere!

This is what I think too. The stuff on land will be Turkey - at sea will be at sea but China.

Not entirely sure whether the Mediterranean sea/ beaches can credibly stand in for the East China Sea. It also does not strike me as very plausible that anybody would want to sail all the way from Macau through the Taiwan Straits/ East China Sea to Japan; the sea is simply too rough there I would guess. I also think that the screen in Scene 97 geo-references a location in Turkey. Finally, we still do not know where the scenes possibly to be filmed at the Tortum waterfalls will fit into the movie...

Not the beaches, but on the boat, on the open sea.

I'm not convinced that the island will be off the coast of Japan in the world of the film, but somewhere in the East China Sea. And as I understand it, Scene 79 is just after mainland China and just before the scenes set on the island, so that would fit.

I see your point and it sounds plausible to me. Alternatively, however, I could imagine Hashima to feature very early in the movie, possibly as the place where Silva has been detained by MI6 and is being questioned by Bond. He then manages to escape, which in turn would set up the Istanbul/ Adana sequences.

We have it on good authority that Bond meets Silva on the island just after the halfway point in the film.

My theory is, following the bridge incident, Bond gets onboard the yacht, and there's a fight which ends with him being thrown into the sea.

Everyone thinks he's fish food, but really he's been rescued by "Beautiful Woman" who nurses him back to health.

Then the proverbial hits the fan back in London.

Hmmmm... a nod to Jason Bourne? Falling off the yacht and all that - then getting back on his feet with the help of a "beautiful woman" - only this one isn't played by Franka Potente....

Franka Potente played a major role in that film, which will not happen here...remember, after 80 plus years of movie making, there is little, that hasn't been done over and over - its how you put it together, that counts...

Perhaps, but that won't stop the critics from lambasting the film for copying from Bourne.

I just hope the similarities aren't too noticeable.

The yacht idea reminds me of Amis's Colonel Sun. Remember the book's interminable boat sequence? Amis devoted an entire chapter to George Ionides, the chap who switches boats with Bond et al.
