You folks are right. My apologies. Off the top of your heads, is LTK the only Bond flick with a major Bond girl (Lupe) in the PTS? Can't think of any others. I remember watching LTK as a kid and thinking that Lupe was the main girl because she was introduced so early. We didn't really meet Pam until the 50 minute mark.

If Luigi is correct, and he has been so far, then Severine would be like Lupe in the sense that we would meet her in the PTS (well before the heroine, Eve, whom I doubt would be in the PTS).

I am liking SKYFALL more and more....

It is confirmed that Eve will be in the Istanbul opening sequence alongside Bond. If you are interested to know more, take a look at the "Bond in Turkey" discussion thread.

I like that fact that Eve will already be established to Bond, sort of like Trevelyan was in 'GoldenEye'. Just nice to see an already exisiting partnership / team rather than one getting forged quickly during the film. Should make some great screen time between Craig and Harris.

Another thing is the constant use of the ear piece. I mean the idea of Bond communicating in the field via wireless means is nothing new (see African Rundown sequence) but the sudden use of a visibly present device is kind of odd. You see one of those on the street and you think "there's a security man." Not very covert of Bond. I'm sure it works in context but I'm having a hard time making sense of using a visible ear piece instead of a non-visible one like in the past. There is the other possibility that it's actually Daniel communicating with crew on set and it's not in the filmed sequences.
