Great find, Shrublands. The Surf Cafe at Coca Kalis beach. A Greek chick and a bottle of Heineken before being called to his duty.

Yes, and it looks like the same clothes as the Smithfield market filming at the start of the shoot - Bond being driven into the underground MI6 bunker.

Thanks Shrublands! Even that pic, the location looks glorious - more evidence of a richer looking Bond world.

Has Severine her hands tied up in the back?? Maybe Bond too?? (I know there are no ropes, but they are just rehearsing and taking the position...)

Indeed they are the same clothes he's wearing during those first scenes that were shot at Smithfield market where he was looking rather scruffy.

Maybe Bond loses his mind or his job and ends up being a beach bum somewhere. Until the decide they need him back in Blighty. ;)

Thanks a lot for sharing these pics, Germanlady.

Is anyone able to read the scene number on the clapperboard in the 4th picture? I read 78. Right?

I can make out the 8 and either a 1 or 7...so going with your guess Luigi, I think you're right it's 78, not 18!

Rachel looks lovely. Noticed they have similar belt tastes...On a similar fashion topic, PERSOL is back, it seems. They look like PO3024S. Better looking than the TF ones. More classy and classic.

More photos at Just Jared.

Bond seems to be wearing brand new 2012 Persol Capri PO3024 sunglasses. Good show.

I think Harris is looking good and I'm loving how heavy the gun fire seems. These clips have been so awesome.

Are those innocent people getting shot? Not usual Bond stuff.

Nope, but there are precedents. i.e. Zorin and Xenia's massacres in A VIEW TO A KILL and GOLDENEYE, and that innocent bystander in QUANTUM OF SOLACE's Palio chase.

The Palio woman was the first time really (somehow different from when the baddies actually purposefully murder people), and they did show her not-being-dead, didn't they? They might do that here I suppose, but it looks a bit grim for Bond from here.

Mind you, there was the driver of the lorry which Bond allows the Alfa to have a head-on-collision with in the opening of Quantum!

I think the Palio woman only gets shot in the shoulder, I'm sure it's her shoulder as the way she falls...I could be wrong, but I felt more sorry for her getting shot and wounded by some random bloke!

I thought that was a particularly interesting side of the Palio sequence, that Bond and the baddies act not in a vacuum but right amongst us, and that their actions have severe consequences for ordinary people. An early example was Dalton jumping the hedge at the Prater, gun drawn and ready, only to confront a mother and her child. But the films never picked that theme up and developed it until that random woman taking the slug in QOS. She's the first we really see suffer, albeit only very briefly.

Good point Dustin, it brings Bond back to humanity for a while, involves us a bit more. The link betweens Dalton and Craig's portrayal is the ordinary people caught up in the espionage game.

I mean, that poor milkman in 'The Living Daylights' spring to mind but yes, I think Craig will deliver just as much.

A three piece suit would be a bit too warm for Istanbul in spring.
