Well I never complained about a lack of suits. I just think there's a balance. Having Bond wear suits in every single scene, for example, would equally be as odd as having him never wear a suit/dinner jacket for the entire film.
The complete guide to Bond's general attitude to style and comfort is all in black and white from Flemming's hand. He wore alot of suits in the books because that's what the fashion was in the 50s. Bond would loosen up every chance he got, wore alot of slip-on loafers, sandals, lightweight suits, silk shirts with no tie etc. That was casual - he even combed his hair 'carelessly', compared to the then fashion of perfectly oiled side parts and the like.
Just saying Bond is no stiff, but iconic imagery - Bond in his dinner suit or the occasional elegant suit and tie - should of course remain. I think the suits in this film look excellent by the way.
