No problem Mate.
Ahh right! Forgive me.
Also, anyone think that that looks more like a trailer screengrab? Than an actual still? Same goes for this...
Maybe it's just because of the widescreen ratio. Both shots look very trailer worthy though.
Any ideas on the weapon ?? not got best views but looks like sig 556.
Looks like the HK416 to me.
CONFIRMED: It is indeed the HK416.
Check out the list of weapons in the film (so far).

You have good Bond girls and you have bad Bond girls. But even the bad Bond girls (like Andrea Anders, Vesper, Pussy Galore) tend to become good at the end of the movie. I'm thinking Severine is a bad Bond girl. She delivers a briefcase to an assassin on the escalator, in the briefcase is the assassin's next victim. What if she is the target (like Camille in QoS) and Bond saves her because he's shadowing the assassin (as seen in the first 007.com video)? Bond kills the assassin, walks to the window to see who his target was and he sees Severine. When Severine finds this out, somewhere later in the story, she becomes a good Bond girl and starts helping 007.
(By the way, I like the pearl tower in the background, it's a great way to set the scene)
Gosh I hope Mendes and co. tweak the formula and make Severine come to the good side at the end and actually survive (even if she doesn't share the final frame clinch with Bond). LTK was the last Bond film to sidestep the "Good girl lives, bad girl dies" tried-and-true scenario, and I'd like to see SKYFALL do the same. It seems to be an atypical Bond film all around, so maybe Severine will survive.
By the way, anyone else get the sense that Severine KNOWS Bond is across the way watching her - and he's ducking her? That would be a cool twist...

Oh yes, thanks. Completely overseen that. Shame it's not a SIG though.

The scene with the DB5 looks great, but didn't the suckers film these scenes with Dench?

I would just like to see Craig get with a girl at the end of the movie.

The HK416 is a multi-terrain assault rifle. A special on the rifle was on I believe the History channel or Military and It showed that it can fire perfectly after being submerged in mud, water, sand, etc. It's a fantastic assault rifle, glad they went with it or at least the weapons coordinator.

Just wanted to throw in a response to a couple questions people had about the weapons and the handling of the weapons in the images we have seen so far:
1) So far from what I have seen this is the most technically sound, in terms of handling of weapons I have seen in a Bond film to date. My only complaint is in several photos Craig has his finger on the trigger even when at rest. In the image where he is firing the rifle his form is near flawless. He has the weapon tucked in close, his line of site is OVER the barrel with both eyes open, allowing him to engage the target while keeping his periphrial. The hand on the magazine for those that asked is for stability, typically you would have a 'broomstick' handle beneath the barrel, but in this case he doesn't so he is shortening up on the weapon for tactical purposes, especially in an indoor enviornment which may involve room clearing. This gives him more control over the weapon and stability. Also, magazines will not get hot, they simply feed the round into the chamber.
2) As for the shell casings. I have never been hit with a shell casing in the eye before. Eye protection is typically for fragmentations, or misfires. The actual casings are designed to be eject outward at an angle, the mechanics of the weapon do not allow for it to travel back towards your eyes.
Hope that answers some questions.

The photo of Bond staking out Severine; looks kind of creepy and strange to me like she is seducing Bond because she knows hes watching her.
Yes.

It does.(By the way, I like the pearl tower in the background, it's a great way to set the scene)

What he said. Cheers Jeff.
I had the chance of getting my hands on the HK416 recently (under supervision) and it's just got great control IMO. Similar to the MP5-A3. Damn fine weapon. For the training I've had over the years in automatic weapons, I concur Icebreaker.

I think these are official, and perhaps are our present for this Monday...

That can't be it...2 pictures from the shoot? Well, unless they have all the cast in official picture shots...that would be nice.

The background is the same and the Berenice one we have seen in her video blog.
So, I think they are EON material...

Hate to break it to you Marketto, but these aren't new. Empire magazine did a feature called 'The Girls of Skyfall' in their March issue. Those two pictures accompany the feature. Sorry for the awful quality!:

No need to apologise! I just thought it was weird that Empire got those pictures so long ago, before any other website! Your detective work here is much appreciated!
